We traveled to Lawton to visit a dear friend who is currently stationed at Fort Sill.
It seems as though the hotels in Lawton are overpriced. The advertised price for Friday, November 22'nd for one king was $92.00 a night and $88.00 on Saturday night, November 23'd when we stayed there.
Now I noticed that the price per night has dropped to $73.00 for this upcoming weekend of November 29th.
After staying at the Baymont for one night, the $ 73.00 price is alot more fitting.
The Hotel staff was very pleasant, friendly, and accomodating from the front desk, to housekeeping and matienance.
The furnishings inside our room were really outdated. There was hair in the bathtub and used soap from prior people staying there. Used towels hanging on the back of the bathroom door.
Wall are very thin, can definately here the neighbors.
Bedding was clean and bed was comfortable. Heater worked great, plenty of hot water to take a shower.
Breakfast was good and offered quite a variety from eggs, bacon, and bisquits to muffins and cereal.
The kids enjoyed the pool...said the water was nice and warm.
I would definately stay at this hotel again...if the price was $ 73.00 per night, otherwise, if I am going to be charged close to $100.00, I would rather pay a little more and stay at a newer hotel.
