Typically when I have to travel to Madill for work, I stay in Ardmore and drive back and forth. I was very pleased when this new hotel opened because the commute time was cut by an hour a day. The hotel appears brand new, even though it's been opened almost 2 years. The entire facility - lobby, dining room, halls, guest rooms - is clean and decorated in a contemporary, minimalist style. The parking lot was clean and well lit. The entry and lobby were pleasant, perhaps a little underlit. The desk staff was very helpful and pleasant. I had a king suite and the room was very large and open. The bed was great with an abundance of pillows. The bathroom was underwhelming but very clean. There was a microwave and minifridge in the room, as well as a sofa and chair, desk, king bed and dresser. I would recommend NOT staying on the back side of the hotel during the swimming pool season because it can get loud. The fitness room was well appointed, but not all of the functions on the weight machine worked and the elliptical machine was kind of rickety. Breakfast in the morning was okay. There was a waffle maker, which is all I really care about. Just a basic business stay. No frills, but a clean, seemingly safe hotel. All of the other guests I encountered were families.
