My husband and I are in town for work, & decided to try Okies for supper last night. Some of my husbands workers raved about this place. I however had my hesitations due to the reviews on here.
We were greeted and seated promptly. Our waitress was friendly enough. The decor was very interesting...Almost too much to take in! The lighting was horrid! We had a green light in the lamp at our table. We couldn't see anything!
After reviewing the menu, my husband chose the ribeye, I the smothered sirloin. Our meals came with a choice of side and a salad. The salad was very below average! Lettuce and dressing only!?! The rolls are from a bag, if you like them they sell them in the frozen section at Sams Club. Not what you would expect from a steakhouse of any kind! Our steaks were however cooked to our liking, (tough but tasted average) and the baked potatoes we had were about a 6.
Overall, I would rate this place about a 5. It's a shame too, the building has so much potential! Probably wouldn't eat here again.
