Hotel was well-maintained, quiet and staffed with very friendly people. A few too many very large dogs but hey were well-behaved. We are so glad that LaQuinta is pet friendly--maybe signage to help all pet-owners with pick up of deposits is in order.
So far we have not had a problem once with staying at this LaQuinta location. We stay at least 4x a year as it is on our way to/from visiting family and have had nothing but positive experiences. Especially since all the remodel. From checking in late , always clean, and great value for the price. Even with traveling with a pet, the rooms don't smell like they take pets.
Location is great too.
We showed up without reservations on a day when travel was disrupted by terrible weather everywhere. Nevertheless, David found two rooms for us with courtesy, good humor and aplomb.
The rooms and lobby were clean, comfortable and well-decorated. Service was (generally) availabe and helpful.
This property is located on I-35, conveniently near the OU campus, Riverwind Casino, the Bone Museum and a ton of good restaurants. First-time visitors should eyeball a map first, because the highway exits are poorly marked and the frontage roads are confusing.
Overall, this was an excellent stay.
