I was in Norman visiting friends. I would typically stay at the Comfort Inn or some other place slightly above a Motel 6. However, it was a football weekend, and I was not in a place to pay $150 a night. My friends suggested the Motel 6 as it had been recently renovated.
It was clean, and the people working there were pleasant.
Basically it was a clean place to sleep and shower, and that was fine seeing as it was only $60 a night. I did stay on the first floor, and the noise from the lobby area was quite loud. The tv out there was on until about 11:30, and you could hear people coming in and out. Also was able to hear some old-fashioned printer printing out something REALLY early in the morning... And the heating/AC unit didn't seem to work. It was a little warm for me and couldn't remedy that problem.
I experienced the 5.6 earthquake while there, and my first impression was that someone was trying to break into my room. I guess I would say it's a decent place to stay, but try getting a room that's not directly off the lobby area.
