I am amazed that Renoir, Monet, Cassatt pieces may be found in the French Impressionist section of this wonderful museum. And it's free admission thanks to a generous donor!! A must see if you're an art lover.

“WOW”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 June 2013

the collection at this museum is second to none for a college. From Renoirs to Indian beautiful layout and exceptional collection. A staffer also recommended Tribes Gallery to us - we told them that's how we found them...thru the gallery. It's great to see businesses recommending other businesses. Keep it up Norman. I do wish parking was better. Coming from out of state, it was difficult finding parking.

“Beautiful and Free”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 April 2013

Set in a beautiful new building with open galleries make the viewing of the displayed art very enjoyable. A unique area is two rooms from the home of the Weitzenhoffer's displaying their collection of French Impressionism, along with other treasures. Thanks to support from the OU athletic department, admission is free. There was a small free parking lot across Boyd Street.

“Amazing!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 March 2013 via mobile

Very impressive! Especially liked the re-creation of the Weintzhoffer's home with impressionist artwork. Clever. Took us two hours to view the entire museum. Free. Hard to find parking. On the OU campus.

“Very Impressive Collection left to a university!!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 February 2013

You simply must stop gawking at the incredibly weird outside sculptures and go inside. You won't believe the quality of the exhibits! I was at OU for a summer workshop and walked in one afternoon 30 minutes before they closed. I was blown away and rearranged my plans to go back and give this place the time it deserved!
