My stay at Sooner Legends in Norman this past weekend was absolutely lovely. When we checked in, the front desk clerk asked if we had eaten dinner (which we had not), then proceeded to give us a free appetizer for their restaurant. The food was delicious and service was great. After eating, we went back to our room. Our room was very spacious and contained a king sized bed, coffee pot w/different blends of coffee, mini fridge, 36" flat screen tv, dresser, desk, alarm clock, and a built in hair dryer. The bed was amazingly comfortable. In the morning, there was a free buffet breakfast with a nice selection of food. The location of the hotel is on one of the main streets in Norman and close to where I needed to be. I would highly recommend this hotel to all of my family and friends if they ever plan to stay in Norman.

We are OU fans so we enjoyed looking at all of the OU pictures. It's an older hotel that has been updated but you can only do so much with an older hotel. The room was very clean but very small for a family of four. Bathroom was also clean but small. Breakfast was okay...nothing special. I'm glad we stayed here once but probably won't stay here again.

You can tell its an older hotel that has been refaced, but it was clean, beds comfortable, and did have a fridge in room, no micowave though, had to go down the hall to warm things up. We had a Non-smoking room, but the smell of smoke from other rooms seemed to linger in. There are alot of Sooner pics to look at throughout the hotel. They also have a free breakfast buffet for guests and a restaurant. I wouldn't have any reservations about recommending it to someone.

This hotel is an old Ramada that has been redone. They did a nice job on the remodel, but its still an old Ramada that has been redone. The motel has new paint, new carpet, lots of pictures of OU athletes and its clean.

The bathrooms are tiny. Mine had a toilet seat that wasn't attached to the toilet. Imagine my surprise! My friends were across the hall and their room had a ceiling tile in the bathroom that was falling out and prevented them from closing the bathroom door. They called the front desk, but it never got fixed.

The fitness room is funny. Its a guest room (small) with one bike, one treadmill and one elliptical.

The food was good at breakfast and the front desk staff was nice. Overall, this property does what it can do well very well, but it is just an old hotel.

We stayed here at the suggestion of the Sleep Inn. The hotel is nice and clean. Breakfast is a hot buffet and very good! Rooms are large. Beds are comfortable. Kendra at the front desk was so nice and helpful! It is near the interstate but the room was quiet! Lots of Oklahoma Sooner memorabilia if that intrests you.Located close to shopping and food.

Sooner Legend Inn and Suites is clearly a roadside motel that has had a facelift. It is billed as a boutique style hotel, but, really, that's a stretch. The boutique hotels I've stayed in previously have wonderful, high quality linens, great bath and body products. upgraded bathrooms, etc. This room, while clean (except for the corners, which looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in months), still felt like a motel room in an inexpensive roadside motel.

The beds have wonderful comforters instead of nasty bedspreads, but the sheets were very poor quality and were very worn and pilled. The towels weren't the fluffy, high quality towels you typically find in boutique hotels, either. They were the standard, worn motel towels but not what you'd expect in a boutique hotel. If you stay here, be sure to bring your own pillows. These were the worst pillows I've ever tried to sleep on.

The breakfast buffet was very good and included scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, fruit, coffee and two different juices. The toaster was not working when we were there.

The decor is what you'd expect from a hotel called "Sooner Legends". My son's first comment when we walked in was, "Wow. There's a lot of red in here." It was as if someone had vomited Sooner all over the place. I know how important Sooner sports are to the town of Norman so I wasn't surprised. My husband is a Sooner fan and enjoyed walking around looking at all the photos (and there are hundreds) and Sooner memorabilia. There is a lot of Sooner history there. OU fans are serious about their love of all things Sooner, so this would be a really fun place for a die-hard Sooner fan. I imagine it's a blast on game weekends.

There is no reason not to stay here (as long as you bring your own pillow), but just don't expect "upscale" accommodations.

We stayed in one of their suites. Blankets, sheets and bath towels were either worn down, frayed, torn or were hole ridden. To what point do you throw things away? In master bedroom, sink water was switched, hot side was cold, cold side was hot. Massive power surges in bedroom and bathroom.
Hotel bar does not own a blender, What? And that question was answered with a attitude from male bartender.
Will not be back, When checking out, we asked to speak to manager and was told she was too busy on phone to come talk.
Thanx for the memories, but keep the rooms and bar to yourself
