On an incredibly hot August afternoon, we were very grateful to explore the inside portion of the FREE (donation appreciated) 45th Infantry Division Museum. The Museum is laid our chronologically starting early in American history and progressing through our wars to Iraq and Afghanistan. One of the highlights for me was the room including Hitler's personal items and other artifacts brought back from WWII. Other indoor areas include armaments, military cartoons, and military vehicles (jeeps, ambulances, etc.) We spent about two-three hours there--could've been longer, especially because we didn't look around the outside exhibits. Museum is self-guided, but the docents are very knowledgeable and full of stories.
