“Don't plan on the shuttle”

This hotel is nice enough, but we had a group staying there for a wedding. We sat down with the manager for 20 minutes to schedule a shuttle to and from my daughter's wedding - and the shuttle never arrived! We were told 3 different reasons why, one of which we know is a lie because they claimed that it did show up but we weren't there! The attitude of the staff was not very helpful. It's a fine place if you don't need to depend on the staff for anything.

This hotel is all fluff and no stuff. The property, lobby and rooms are beautiful and in good working order. However, that's as far as it goes for anything good about our stay there. One morning we could not get in the pool as both keys did not work. We booked through a wedding block. Other families who booked the same way were given free breakfast coupons. Not that they would have helped much because the breakfast experience was AWFUL. It would have helped though, not to have to pay for the bad food and service. The staff did not explain how it worked. The second day we realized we could order from a cook, but no one was behind the counter to take our order. The food was terrible. The menu said "fresh" fruit. The fruit in the bowls was canned, the bananas, although fresh, were so green they could not be eaten. The gravy was bland, the biscuits were undercooked, bland and tough. The bread and muffins were stale and of poor quality. Three staff members (at least one of them was a manager) took up a long conversation in the middle of the buffet section totally unaware they were in the way and people were trying to go around them. It is a poorly designed space to begin with. If there are more than a three people getting food, there is congestion. The wait staff fooled around behind the desk as people waited to be served or helped. With the nice table settings, couldn't you manage to have glass glasses for the juice? An argument broken out between staff members in the kitchen and we could hear it in the dining area. I asked for a receipt at check out and the clerk acted put out about it. The dinner the night before the wedding was equally bad. The food was bad and so was the service. I felt so sorry for the couple. Most places we stay at these days slide a receipt under the door on the last night of the stay. Ten years ago I spent three nights a week at a hotel for my job (for ten years). Currently our family makes 8-10 trips a year with overnight stays. This is the worst experience we have ever had. We certainly have had better food. The staff at this hotel needs a LOT of training on good customer service. Hilton hotels: never again!

My wife and I stayed here for five nights for a golf tournament. We usually stay at a Hilton based on past experience, and this was no exception. Nice rooms, a good breakfast, and free internet is hard to beat. The location of this hotel is also convenient to the interstate and is within walking distance to several restaurants. We highly recommend it.

One can usually really on consistency with the Hilton Brand but this hotel appears to have a slightly lower standard in a couple of areas. I stayed using points and as happens more frequently lately, the room assigned was a handicapped room. The room didn't have a remote for the TV and no action was taken to correct or to follow up with me to offer an alternative room, etc. At breakfast, this is the first HGI I have stayed at that did no have fresh berries, melons, etc. on the breakfast bar. Canned fruit was the offering. The omelette, however, was excellent. All in all, a comfortable stay, but nothing special.

Based on the other reviews on TA, we decided to stay here while visiting Oklahoma City. The hotel looks great from the outside and is very clean inside (the lobby, the halls, the rooms). There are several restaurants within walking distance (Wes Welker's restaurant is right in front).

Parking was ample and there was no charge. The staff we encountered were all friendly and courteous.

The beds were NOT comfortable. At check-in, the clerk mentioned they were adjustable comfort beds. Unfortunately, the only adjustment was from rock hard to just hard. We stayed in a 2 Queen room and neither of the beds was comfortable.

In addition to the beds, the AC unit would rattle (loudly!) at various times throughout the night. Each time it would wake all of us up. The rattle lasted roughly 4-7 minutes each time, and then it was gone. Very annoying!

I had asked at check-in for a room on the top floor and was accomodated. However, the noise in the hallway was loud. I'm not sure if the people visiting the hotel knew how to quietly shut their doors but it seemed like everyone was slamming doors at night and in the morning. Again, very annoying.

Would I stay here again? Probably not.

Room Tip: To avoid excessive noise from the other room doors opening and closing, try to get a room on the top...

I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel the rooms were impeccable. I was very pleased with the staff and their willingness to make sure that customer service was outstanding. From the front desk employees to the housekeeping staff everyone was extremely positive and very open. I would recommend this hotel for anyone stand in the Oklahoma city area anytime.
