The building has great architectural structure. You can self tour or have a guided tour@ 9,10, 11am, 12 noon, with the last guided tour @ 3pm. Very educational & informative. Easy access. Parking is free and not too far of a walk. While walking to the captitol building you have access to a beautiful Memorial area. Beautiful to take pictures.

I had not visited the Oklahoma State Capital in many, many years--prior to the addition of the dome. This 100-year-old building is now being renovated. It's time. Much of the art was in storage so as not to be damaged in the repairs. Nonetheless, there are many frescos and statues still to be seen. They capture Oklahoma history beautifully. We took a guided tour and saw the House and Senate chambers. I encourage them to re-open the Supreme Court room for viewing. Our guide was great. The only reason I didn't rate this a five is because of the construction.

The capitol is open during business hours. Access and parking was easy (the legislative session was over). They offer free tours, or you can do a self guided walk through of the building. It is currently under renovation however there is still a lot of artwork. The tour was very informative about the building, state history, and politics in the area.

I have visited many state capitol buildings and this one was the least impressive. There was not different or usual about the building. It has the usual dome, but nothing outstanding.
