Needed to stay at a hotel in the city for one night, and we were so glad we picked the Skirvin. We even received a surprise upgrade upon arrival. The room was incredible!!! I would highly recommend this hotel.

This was my first visit to Oklahoma City. Probably would never have gone - but it wasa good stop on a road trip. The Skirvin Hilton offered a good rate for a pre-paid night. Other decision factors were proximity to the highway and to the Oklahoma City National Memorial. The hotel is a historic property, first opened in 1945. It reopened about 3 yeas ago, after an extensive renovation which followed the hotel being closed for years. I love historic hotels, and this one did not disappoint. First, the staff we encountered (bellman, front desk, bartender, and food server) were all exceptionally friendly and competent. The hotel itself is beautiful! It has been fully renovated with stunning contemporary design incorporated with original architectural elements retained and restored. Our room was spacious and well furnished. We got a great recommendation for a local restaurant, which we completely enjoyed. You can easily walk to the Memorial, which should not be missed. It is a beautifully conceived remembrance of the event and the people lost, and the spirit of America and Oklahomans.

We stayed in a double queen room with lots of room and a large marble bathroom with all the amenities. Very beautiful historic hotel. Staff was pleasant and check in was easy. Self-parking is available in a garage behind the hotel, very easy. Rates were only a little more than other hotels in area and less than other nearby convention hotels. We walked to Bricktown for dinner at Zios -- recommended!

If you enjoty stale rooms that reek of mold along with a wonderfully humid atmosphere, this is the place for you. The rooms are dirty with stains on the bathrooms walls. If you have any standards at all, pass this one for a reasonable room elsewhere that might actually be worth the money.

From the time you arrive, all you will find is service, service, service. The first class customer service and historic charm of this hotel make for an exceptional experience. My wife and I stay at this hotel often when in OKC for Leisure. We have yet to be disappointed. While some of the rooms are a bit small, the service more than makes up for it. The folks at the Skirvin have definitely got customer service down. The manager is often found in the Lobby greeting guests as they come and go and check in is fast, usually less than a couple of minutes. The bar tender and wait-staff in the Red Piano Lounge are quick to learn your name and call you by name when they see you. Their rates are slightly higher than the other major hotels in the downtown area, but well worth the small amount extra.

A lovely luxury room - a welcome sight at the end of a long drive.

Really comfortable bed with a mattress memory foam topper.

Bath robes, toiletries - all the standard Hilton stuff.

The only parking available was Valet, which was expensive but the only option.

Just got back from a 4 night stay and found everything to be top notch. The facility itself (an historic landmark) is centrally located and close to Bricktown and other downtown historic sites. The rooms are large and well-appointed. The fitness club was clean and had a good assortment of Precor equipment. Front desk personnel were always courteous and attentive. All in all, an exceptional experience.
