Hotel infested with fleas, worst possible odor, pulled back blanket and found several alive jumping in supposedly "clean" sheets. Got a refund and went to Candlewood and I loved it rooms were immaculate and smelled clean.

Across the street from the Best Western is a nicer appearing Holiday Inn Express. We have stayed there. It is typical in that it is nice with a nice pool and nice breakfast. Most people would pass by the Best Western because it doesn't look as nice, has an outdoor pool, and the rooms are all exterior. DON'T PASS IT BY! My husband and I stayed at this Best Western recently for one night while we were in town for various appointments. We were quoted a rate of about $140 at the Holiday Inn Express and $76.99 at the Best Western. We expected to "get what we paid for". We were very pleasantly surprised!

Our room was larger than the typical hotel room. We had a king bed with a separate area containing a couch and tablel/chairs. The room had a mini fridge and microwave. It was an older hotel, but the room had been updated with decorator colors and furnishings. It was quite nice! The bed was comfortable enough for a one-night stay. And, it was quiet.

The hotel offered a free breakfast that contained cereal, yogurt, fruit, danishes, and biscuits and gravy.

My point is this: If you want to pay twice as much for the same thing, then go to the Holiday Inn Express. If you are looking for an adequately nice hotel with all of the same amenities at HALF the price, then don't pass by the Best Western.

My wife and I stayed two nights and was very happy with everything. The beds were a dream, was told they were brand new. Staff went out of their way to make us feel confortable and welcome. Front desk called us after check in to ask if everything was ok, nice touch. Breakfast had eggs and sausage. Room was clean and big. We will stay here again.

Room Tip: King Room had sofa and desk.

We couldn't have been happier with this place for the price. Very pleasant staff, nice rooms. We were also very conveniently close to Tulsa and everything we wanted to access.Easy highway access, and close to restaurants and shopping. Short drive to downtown, too!

This is really a motel it has 2 stories, all rooms have exterior entrances that overlook the parking lot, and is located right next to highway 169. They do allow pets and I did see people with dogs, however I only heard them bark once or twice.

We stayed 2 nights rooms 204, 205, 206; Friday night - Sunday morning.
Arrived Friday night
• Staff was very busy checking people in and we had to wait.
• We called Friday morning to confirm adjoining rooms with interior door but upon arrival the rooms were not available.
• Had to carry everything up stairs that were uneven and husband tripped and fell.
• Heard people in parking lot and highway traffic all night.

Saturday night
• After being gone all day, we walked across the parking lot in wind/ mist and the climb up the stairs key cards would not work in either room’s door.
• When we finally got into the rooms room 206 smelled like sewer gas, had to make the track back to the front desk and get a different room. The staff said it was an ongoing problem after a busy night that 1 room between the numbers 203-206 might have the smell. So the moved us to room 204 no smell but the toilet would not stop running unless you pulled up the float in the tank but since it was late we fixed it and went to bed.
• Not as much parking lot noise but still heard highway traffic all night.

Continental Breakfast
I did look at the breakfast every day but did not eat since I have a gluten allergy and my only options were yogurt, apple, orange, and coffee. I might have been able to eat the eggs but they were premade and I could not be sure if they had wheat preservatives. Here is what I saw:

3 kinds of cereals, baked goods, waffle maker, jimmy dean sausage and biscuits in a bag, yogurt, apple or orange and rotate hot food every other day, flour gravy and biscuits or sausage links and premade eggs.

Pros
Decently priced
Friendly staff
Located next to highway for easy access to Tulsa
Beds were comfortable
Coffee at breakfast was good

Cons
Highway traffic noise
Parking lot noise
Pond located on property
No elevator to second floor; steps not even; the risers at the top, bottom and landing were of varying heights creating tripping hazard.

Room Tip: DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 203, 204, 205, 206 they may have a sewer gas smell on busy days.
