As most know, a crowd is the surest sign of good food. The Pickett Fence is as crowded at lunch as the little town of Sayre will permit.
I had the lunch special -- homemade lasagna, beer bread, salad, and cake. With iced tea and I spent less than half an Andrew Jackson! I loved the homemade lasagna btw.
The Pickett Fence is run by a group of ladies packed into a modest sized kitchen in a modest sized house. It's great; get off the Interstate and try it.
