“Good overnight stay”
Reviewed 17 January 2012

Stayed here with a friend. Good for the price. Comfortable beds. Breakfast coupons. Nice size room with a home setting, couch makes into a bed, kitchen area. Very clean, good showers. Shuttle service to casino. Runs often, not much waiting. Will stay here again.

Room Tip: Rooms fill up fast, call early for reservations.

The Inn is located about 1/4 mile from the Winstar Casino on the reservation property. The rooms are small, comparable to a Motel 6 or an older Holiday Inn, with no closet apparent. They are fine for a one night stay with a comfortable bed, good TV and a working tub and shower. The motel appears to have been built for the Casino players as opposed to have being built for vacationers. It serves it's purpose. They do have a shuttle to the Casino if needed. The rooms are very pricey compared to some motels which are a mile or two away from the Casino however they are about $90 per night less expensive than the Winstar Holel which is connected to the Casino itself.
At check-in the Inn did give us a free breakfast at the Casino buffet. We did enjoy the breakfast at the Casino. We have now received, in the mail, two complimentary nights Sunday thru Thursday for both November and December. We will definitely take advantage of the these.
Pros: Convenient to the Casino, shuttle available, friendly front desk staff, free breakfast at the Casino buffet, comfortable beds
Cons: None other than price

Very nice Hotel and casino. Pricey rooms unless you have a casino players card. Price drops to a decent (not excellent) level.

Rooms are nice but for the price I would expect to have a refrigerator in them.

People behind check in the counter could be a little nicer. Seemed like they didnt want to wait on customers.

Very convenient for casino access.

Room Tip: No indoor pool to use in cold weather.

Clean and very convenient to the Winstar Casino with shuttle service available. Small room with no frills. No closet, just a hook on the wall. No refrigerator, no microwave and small basic bathroom. Need a really long arm to reach the toilet paper dispenser on the wall across from the toilet. Beds very comfortable and if you are spending all you time at the casino the hotel is fine to come back to and just flop into bed. Just don't expect anything fancy. Staff is very friendly and brought up some room spray when we complained about the cigarette smell in the room. Strong smell in the hallway also. Be sure to specify a non-smoking room if smoke smell bothers you. Overall it was fine with us since we didn't spend much time in the room.

My husband, son and I stayed at the inn as a "gift" from the casino. The staff, both front desk and housekeeping, were friendly and helpful. We rode the complimentary shuttle to and from the casino, the drivers were cordial. The pool was pretty decent for an inn. All in all, our two days there were very nice. I'd definitely go there again if it weren't "free". I put those words in quotations because with the money that I lost at the casino surely paid for the stay. :-)

Room Tip: Reserve as soon as possible because rooms fill up quick

I just returned from the Winstar Resort. I really want to write a good review but they make it very hard for me to do. First, I'll start with the hotel. It is very nice aesthetically. Everything is clean and orderly. The big issue here is the walls are paper-thin and I was able to hear the tv from the room next door and everything out in the hallway. So, to put it bluntly, if you plan on getting lucky at the hotel, you might want to re-think this. Now, onto the casino. I read beforehand the concerns of many gamblers stating the Winstar was tight on slots and I can confirm this. Remember, you are going there to gamble so if you think yu are going to hit it big, re-think! I played almost $300.00 and had almost enough credits on my card to pay for my breakfast at the "nicer" resturant there. Speaking of resturants, I'll start with this tip: If you are there to see a concert, you need to make reservations at the the "nicer" Grill or get there exrememly early to eat at one of the other resurants there. We ended up eating at The Panda Express because every other resturant was booked or had a line a mile long. We waited 20 minutes at the Sports Bar to even get acknowledged by a bartender. By the way, The Chinese Food was just fine-quick service as well. Concert nights are busy nights for everyone. The venue itself was a cozy-sized place but I was dissapointed in the chairs-they were uncomfortable and not the concert-type seating one might be used to (i.e. Verizon Center.) On the plus side, I only paid $4.50 for a coctail. Okay, back to the Casino:they want you feel that you are entering another "country" or "part of the world" when you walk through the casino. It is basically in sections that go on and on with millions of slots that all look the same. You will enter the Casino smelling nice and fresh but leave smelling like smoke. The smoke is bad and I am not one for dramatics. The venting system is either poor or there is just no way to beat the massive amount of smoke from the people. Last thing:The Spa. I made an appointment for a body scrub and got shorted on my time. The attendant never introduced herself which I found a little annoying. It commonplace (or should be) to greet the person you are about to work on with an introduction.
I am not a super-picky person believe it or not but I won't be back to the Winstar unless I come back for a concert, which is very possible since they are able to draw in pretty decent acts/bands/performers.

Room Tip: Ask for a room AWAY from others if possible.
