I am pleased to see all the good reviews for this hotel as they echo my own experience. Several have complained that the facility is old and outdated. The fact that the facility is older is, on the Oklahoma prairie, a definite advantage.

I grew up in Tulsa, and I suspect that this hotel was once an apartment complex. It's configured and built like many garden apartments built in the area in the late 60's and early 70's, with apartments (hence the outside access) arranged around a center courtyard with a pool, and outside stairs to the two upper floors. Very typical.

The facility is brick-built with older construction standards that are much superior to the drywall and plywood construction of later buildings.

As I said, I grew up in Tulsa. I grew up with violent thunderstorms and tornadoes being pretty much routine. The damage these storms do is staggering, but to many who have grown up witnessing their power, they can also be exhilarating - if you know you are reasonably safe, that is.

When I stayed at this hotel in late February to the middle of March in 2008, a freak blizzard blew through the area. The storm was the result of massive warm and cold fronts colliding, creating enormous winds and even tornadoes on the storm's leading edge. The temperature dropped probably 30 degrees in a matter of minutes. Thunder, lightening, high winds and snow all hit at the same time. It was marvelous - and very scary if you weren't in a safe place. But I knew that I could not be more safe than in this solidly built building, and I enjoyed experiencing the power of the storm to the fullest. Don't dismiss an older building in Oklahoma - fierce weather is a way of life.

The staff and rooms were very nice we had a very enjoyable stay. The only problem was the address. This hotel is not in Broken Arrow as the address line shows. It is in south east Tulsa. You must enter Tulsa in your GPS to get directions, not Broken Arrow. This is a great value.

I travel to the Tulsa area regularly for buisness. The LaQuinta staff are always welcoming. They remember my name, and my preferences. I am treated like visiting family more than a paying guest. IF there is ever anything slighly amiss, all I have to do is notify the front desk staff, and it is corrected immediately.
The staff is professional, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are clean and well maintained.

Always helpful and courteous! They take great care of me. Rooms are clean and shower pressure is good! Nice breakfast and dinning area. Easy access to the highway and good parking. Don't know what else to say other than I have always been pleased and really like Rhonda the manager.

This hotel needs to be closed and a new one built. It is practically under the highway. Clean and perfect price. Just worn out. Staff friendly and helpful. Pretty good strength in wireless. Safe area. Quite a distance from restaurants
