It has been several years since my wife and I have stayed overnight in Tulsa and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with downtown Tulsa and The Mayo Hotel in particular. The hotel is clean and fresh with very nice large rooms. Our room was more like an apartment with a living room bed room and kitchen. So, having said all of that, the staff was young and seemed unsure of themselves. Check in was slower than it should have been. The wait staff at breakfast was not overwhelmed with customers yet where not on top of their service.
All in all, this is a very nice hotel and the staff was polite and pleasant but they need a lot of work to become truly polished......
