Ti Amo’s has two locations in Tulsa; 3rd and Cheyenne (downtown) and 61st and Sheridan. Ti Amo’s has been in Tulsa for over 20 years and has become a standard for guests and new Tulsans. The prices are very reasonable for the excellent quality of food and service.
The downtown location has more of the happy hour vibe, and is a smaller space than the south location. That makes it louder and more crowded, but it has a more vibrant and upbeat feel inside if you like that. The south location has a quieter, dimmer, “date night” ambiance. The south location also has one of the nicest bars in town.
Everything on the menu is delicious and not “overly prepared.” What I mean by that is the food is simply prepared. The commercials for the Italian chain restaurants show breadsticks flying through the air, the pasta flopping on a plate, and the salad being splashed with dressing while the voice-over describes your meal and lists all 27 ingredients in the name of the dish. That’s not what you’ll get at Ti Amo’s. It’s simple, “clean,” and delicious. I’ve even known them to let people order off the menu if they don’t see what they like. Few restaurants have the staff that can handle that type of request. Ti Amo’s excels at it.
Items that you should try include the Lobster Bisque soup, Bruschetta, Cannelloni and the Fettucini Primavera. The Cannelloni is filled with a beef and sausage blend that is delicious!
It’s an excellent place for a quiet date, a family gathering, or even for larger groups as they have banquet rooms. My wife and I went on our first date at Ti Amo’s over 20 years ago and we still love the place. I’m not sure what size crowds the South Tulsa banquet facilities can handle, but I think it ranges from smaller crowds of a dozen to larger crowds of 40 or more.
