So much info, so much history. Many interactive exhibits. Very positive putting the songs and art work of Woody Guthrie in the context of the happenings of the last century. Highly reccomended

One of the best curated museums I've ever been too. Interactive displays and historical information tell the story of a true American original; Wood Guthrie. Check it out - he's much more than "this land is your land".

Wonderful museum that highlights the life and legend of Woody Guthrie. Very good exhibits, well laid out, informative. Multimedia information lets you explore the times (20'-30's) that influenced Guthrie's music and social activism. Interesting side exhibit on photography highlighting Bruce Springsteen. A must to see in downtown Tulsa!

My friends brought me here because they know I love museums. More importantly, they know I love music. It's a small place, but filled with so much information and folk music goodness! The two staff members I met were just wonderful. Friendly and answered any question I had. They even helped me take a photo for home. I LOVED the video. My favorite part, besides that it was all Woody Guthrie, was the mix of displays. There was plenty of interactive, video, listening and then just looking at things. It's a self guided tour and no one rushes you for anything. I was lucky enough to visit and the Springsteen exhibit was still there.
It's right across the street from Guthrie Green. You can't miss it. If you are folk music fan, or just a fan of music in general, check this place out. You won't regret it.

I was impressed with the wealth of information provided by this small museum. The tour guide was outstanding and the videos and exhibits were first class. Highly recommend this little gem in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
