“Wonderful B and B !!”

We stayed here for the second time last month and it was great!
A lovely room with quiet air conditioning. A very comfortable bed, and immaculate bathroom and a delicious breakfast! So much nicer than other alternatives in Baker City.
Ivey and Ernie are such friendly hosts and so very helpful.
We'll be back!

Room Tip: There was no wi-fi in our room, but a nice desk in the living room had wi-fi. It was not an inconven...

A riding buddy and I stayed at the Beaten Path B & B in Baker City OR during a recent motorcycle rally. I’d never stayed at a B & B and didn’t know what to expect. Well, I can say I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. Our hosts, Ivy and Ernie were two of the most wonderful folks I have had the pleasure to meet. We were treated exceptionally well and I felt like part of their family. Each morning, hot coffee was on early and we were treated to a delicious breakfast meal consisting of hot cherry turnovers, granola, assorted fresh fruits, and various egg dishes prepared by Ivy. The way we should all start the day. I especially enjoyed the chocolate treat beside the water jug in the evening.
The Victorian style home is in pristine condition with a formal parlour for guests to mingle or just relax in comfort. The bedroom was very comfortable and spotless. Ernie provided us with a lockable garage across the street from the B & B for our bikes so there was no need for worry there.
When it was time to head north, we wanted to get an early start on our trip home so Ivy and Ernie got up early and prepared breakfast that included hot coffee, orange juice, freshly baked Blueberry muffins and an apple pie. Man, I didn’t want to leave. My wife and I will be making the trip to the rally next year and I plan to call Ivy early and make a reservation. A delightful place to stay and was it hard to say good bye to our new friends. A hug for Ivy and Ernie and it was time to ride.
A truly enjoyable experience is waiting for anyone planning to stay at the Beaten Path B & B. A genuinely 5 star accommodation; you will not be disappointed.

We stayed in Baker City for 3 nights during a motorcycle tour of NE Oregon. A Beaten Path B & B was a great choice for location, within walking distance of downtown and restaurants, quiet and comfort. There are several bedrooms, a large living room and one bath so it works well for a couple, family or group of friends. In our case, we were their only guests because they do not want whoever is staying to have to share the bathroom with strangers. So if you have a family or are traveling with friends, there is plenty of room and not an issue to share the bathroom, which is very large. The breakfast was fabulous. Several types of fresh fruit and homemade pastries in addition to the main dish. My husband and I are vegetarians, and Ivy used her creative cooking skills to accommodate our dietary needs. She is a great cook. We had so much food that we were able to take what we couldn't eat for lunch. Ivy and Ernie are very considerate, caring and lovely hosts. Highly recommended.

This is one of the Best B&B's we have ever stayed at. Ivy and Ernie are the best hosts. The food is over the top and the large bedroom and bath were very accommodating. Best of all was the wonderful conversation and feeling one gets while staying in a very large and exquisitely decorated Victorian home just loaded with history of the Baker City area.

We will definitely be back!

Hi, Baker city is small town, but so beautiful city...in U.S and very historical value & location.
This winter 2013, it was the first visit to Oregon. We travelled to California this winter, SanFrancisco, Camel, Monterary,,,but Bakercity trip is more valuable travel.
Great ski at Anthony Lake Ski Report with a lot of snowing. And we had dinner at great brewery restaurant downtown Baker city. We sleep very well and had great full breakfast
Beautiful room and bath. clean and clean. dinning room...everything is ...great.
Great trip and very kind owners. She took some food for our take out and really delicious when we came back home.
We stayed one night, but would like to stay more.
Must go and stay!! Recommend.

We stayed in Baker City for 3 days as part of a larger group in Baker and Sumpter. The B&B is an easy walk from Baker's main street in a quiet part of town. The bedrooms are great and the shared living room is well equiped and a good size. When we had to leave earlier than normal Ivy kindly made us a take away breakfast box.

We stopped over in Baker City after a 50k trail race in Idaho, and the breakfasts served by Ivy and Ernie were the perfect recovery meals... baked goods fresh from the oven, decadent breakfast sandwiches, and homemade granola with yogurt and fresh fruit. Ivy asked ahead of time if we had any dietary restrictions, which was very thoughtful.

The B&B is cozy and comfortable with nice historic touches, and the hosts are very welcoming. It is a short walk from Downtown Baker City and the Barley Brown brewery (which we also recommend!). The Anthony Lake ski area is a short, scenic drive away along with some other fun historic sites.

All in all, a wonderful and relaxing weekend with wonderful hosts and we are already thinking of excuses to return....
