We knew we weren't staying at the Hilton and had realistic expectations. We wanted a budget friendly motel that met all the needs we had. We wanted a king size bed, a clean room and wifi access. Since internet access is imperative to my situation(in school with tons of homework), I NEEDED wifi.
We showed up to a reasonable room as we expected and everything was fine until we discovered that there was no internet access in the room we were in, probably because we were too far from the office. It was more than an inconvenience and all they offered was 5$ off and blamed the staff that wasn't there.
Aside from that, the room was clean and reasonably priced.

We liked the location. Next to a trail along the river and they are very dog friendly. Getting to the dog walk through the boiler room was an experience though. Good restaurant next door.. You are downtown and can walk the main street. Rooms were adequate. Large rooms with separate shower and sink. Beds OK but not a La Quinta. Shower ok. Breakfast was a chit for a choice of 3 (small) breakfast choices or 10% off. We classified it as a "Jack Reacher" motel. (author Lee Childs) Very inexpensive.

Room Tip: Ask for room in back. Quieter

We found this gem on the way to Boise. Their rooms are clean and well-appointed, even if they aren't quite up to date. The breakfast tickets for their diner are great - not your typical continental breakfast. It's not luxurious, but if you're looking for a clean place to stay with great value, this is the place for you. Don't let the exterior fool you, it isn't as shabby as it seems.

We stayed here a few years ago on a trip to Hells Canyon. We loved it! Everything was great. We have stayed here a few more times when passing through. Always good. The staff have been very helpful each time. Daughter loves the pool. The restaurant has been reliably good. They are biker & pet friendly. We would have stayed here again for the HCMR but they were full up by the time I started looking. :(

We had reservations set in February 2013. Confirmed in May. When we tried to check in all of our rooms had been changed with out our knowledge and the promised free breakfasts taken away. The owner of the hotel convienately left town the morning of check in. Won't ever try to stay there again.

Our women's motorcycle group booked rooms 6 months ago....confirmed reservations May 6th...received room assignments and thought everything was in place for 6/7-9, 2013. There were 27 ladies and 10 guests arriving. When our group arrived from Boise, were informed rooms were "given away" and alternate rooms (upstairs, even though some requested ground) were available....NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. We looked across the street at the Bridge Street Inn and most cancelled Oregon Trail and went across the street. And, furthermore, no manager was to be available all weekend. No "free breakfast coupons" were available 6/7-6/14 (printed on sheet of paper on counter). The pool was full of "squatter children" and very small. Never, never stay here...poor customer service!!!! Pass the word to friends and family..don't stay here.

You guys were quoted a special price which did not include breakfast. The pool had a Mother and 3 children who were staying here for a period of time, surely not squatters, who had every right to use the pool. The managers live on property and were here, but the owner was out of town. Word has it from other gals in your group, they had a good time and apologized for the way you acted and rushed off to the internet to air your laundry.
