The pool court yard is quiet and inviting to sit by. The rooms are newly decorated, clean and good. The Sunridge Restaurant has some wonderful servers and the food is good, well priced. We recommend the Marion Berry cobbler its an Oregon treat. Ross and the two servers were so helpful. One server went to the store for us to buy Ice cream so we could have the cobbler. They were friendly and provided real, genuine quality service.

Only complaint was POOR wireless connectivity and the fridge was too warm/broke. Fridge, microwave, and wireless need to be updated... badly. Hot tub and pool were warm & clean... felt great! Restaurant and Lounge were great too! Food and service was awesome and very reasonably priced. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will be back.

The staff here was very nice and welcoming . The rooms are fairly clean with the exception of the furniture. The chair and ottoman were badly stained. Kinda makes you wonder about the rest of the furnishings . Really didn't want to sit on them. My only other complaint would be the limited television channels .

Advance and when we arrived they lost our reservation and my in laws. Then an hour after my in laws checked in they called us and asked if we still wanted the reservation. We had a small situation with our bathroom asked for a plunger never received help until 6 hours after the call. We recalled and still had to wait 30 minute's. Not very organized.

While this wasn't going to be my first choice of location, John Day was booked solid, so we had to overshoot. We were not disappointed in the least at staying here. Getting to this hotel was easy, it is right off the freeway. The views are great with the mountains in the distance. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, and they had cookies up front when we checked in. ;-)

Room was clean, and there were nice linens. We've stayed at two other Best Westerns this trip, however, and at many others at other times, and this one is showing its age. Guest laundry consists of two dryers and one washer in building 3. There are no microwaves or fridges, or at least they weren't present in our room.

The staff was very nice and helpful, but the hospitality coffee station is only available during breakfast hours. After that, they want you to brew something in the room coffee maker (lousy for tea), or visit the onsite restaurant. McDonalds is also within walking distance, thankfully.

This is certainly an adequate place to stay, but we expect more from a lodging than we used to. There's a lot of competition for our vacation dollar, and we'll be looking hard at other properties.

The hotel was a very welcome respite for two tired travelers. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were welcomed, checked in and on our way to our room without any delay. The room was beautiful and well laid out. Very comfortable. The restaurant meal was delicious and well presented. The spa was a balm to our tired bodies. The garden was just so beautiful and carefully taken care of. Lots of flowers in bloom. A nice quiet little hideaway just off the freeway. We will definitely be back here!
