We were on our way out of town and hadn't planned on eating in Bandon, but on the recommendation of a local (best fish and chips along the WA and OR coast), we decided to swing through town for lunch. Definately a great decision, by far the best fish and chips you will have, the fish is very fresh and the cole slaw has a local surprise with cranberries added to it. If you are looking for a cheap meal, don't go there but if you want fish and chips that you will remember, take the time to stand in line. Everyone else lined up knows that it is well worth the wait!

Really great fish & chips! Wish they had fish tacos, maybe they do, we just didn't see them on the menu & didn't ask. Very friendly service! We'll be going here every time we're in Bandon. It's the best of the three fish houses lined up down by the docks.

On our second attempt, due to discerning crowds, we were able to find a table and order their renowned fish and chips. Mouthwatering! The fish was fresh, the breading perfect, hot and steamy. We also got their clam chowder which we really enjoyed. This is a very small waterfront eatery with limited inside tables but two separate outside areas, one sheltered. Many people got take-out and ate on the boardwalk where there is even an enclosed room with tables for public use. Be sure to try this place, the blue building. Don't let the lines deter you.

I was looking forward to having delicious clam chowder in this charming town. I ordered a clam chowder bread bowl and was disappointed to say the least. It was not very flavorful nor creamy. They did, however, have an excellent fish and chips. Golden and fried to perfection. The clam strips were just okay as was the crab and shrimp cocktail. Overall it was just okay, if I did go there again, I would stick with the fish and chips!
