The Oxford located in the heart of Bend is the best experience I have had at a hotel, including a Ritz Carlton. The customer service, overall decor and small touches make this a 5 star experience every time.

The Oxford has a lot going for it - great location in downtown Bend; very helpful staff; large, well furnished rooms. Only a couple of negatives - the bathroom faucet has been engineered to allow only a small amount of water flow, and maid service was too late in the day. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay. The concierge staff (Todd and Jason in particular) were excellent, booking dinner reservations and even scheduling shuttle service to the one restaurant we went to not within walking distance. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling to the area.

My wife and I have been to the Oxford many times. It is our getaway hotel of choice in the Bend area. Always clean and always comfortable. A perfect place for a couple's weekend away. I love the location within walking distance of excellent coffee and restaurants. You can't go wrong with a stay at the oxford!

I stayed at the Oxford for a summer weekend with a friend while visiting the Bend / Crater Lake area. Being the height of the summer, I was really happy to see that the number one rated hotel in Downtown Bend had an available room - my friend and I stayed in the Double Queen Room. The experience was well above average, but for the price ($300+ per night), I felt lacked slightly.

Upon arrival, we had a slightly hard time figuring out the parking situation (the valet had stepped away for a moment) but upon his return he told us how to find the attached parking garage. Parking is free on weekends, but not free weekdays. Valet parking is not complimentary. Oddly, he asked for our name as we went to the parking garage, but the front desk didn't greet us by name when we walked in five minutes later with our bags.

Checkin was lovely, freshly baked cookies at reception were a nice bonus. The front desk attendant was incredibly helpful and friendly with giving us a lay of the land in Bend, since it was our first time in town and we were looking for recommendations for local bars and restaurants. I definitely felt like the staff would be more than happy to provide any assistance with reservations or other local recommendations.

The room was great - incredibly spacious and with very comfortable beds and pillows. Easy to get a good night's sleep. The decor was contemporary but not too eclectic, it felt like staying in a nice boutique hotel in a smaller city. The bathroom was well appointed with a separate shower and tub, and great modern finishes. And the room also had a separate sitting area with a desk, which was a great plus for unwinding or getting ready for the day.

Location is ideal, right in the heart of Downtown Bend and within easy walking distance of almost all the popular restaurants and breweries. Also, very convenient to get back on the road for daytrips.

We also ate at the restaurant in the hotel, 10 Below, for breakfast both days we stayed. The food was top notch, very delicious and the staff were very attentive. The bacon was delicious!

The only recommendations I would have for this hotel / critiques I would share with fellow travelers are that it is a bit pricey for what you get. I've stayed in hotels for this price point in much larger, more expensive cities and gotten a more luxurious experience. The breakfast isn't included, which would be a nice bonus when spending so much to stay there. Also, the toiletries in the room aren't the very upscale and are given to you in pump bottles which feels a bit cheap (though it is "eco-friendly"). It would be nice if there were a few additional toiletry amenities in-room. It would also make a great impression if the hotel included complimentary valet parking (you would tip the attendant anyway, and the parking structure is attached). And, oddly, the air conditioning in the room is incredibly loud when it turns on and off, which might disturb some light sleepers.

All in all, though, I would highly recommend staying at this hotel in Downtown Bend. It's incredibly comofortable and the staff are lovely - a great home away from home for a few days.

Our family of four was very impressed with this modern hotel in Bend. Everyone was professional and friendly. Rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. We had a very comfortable stay. The kids loved Remington too!

The Hudson is a really fun, hip place to stay. I loved the urban hangout vibe. The Roof Terrace was fabulous, as was the outdoor deck on the lobby level. Great location near Columbus Circle and the subway. Easy walk to the Theater district. I would stay there again.

All around awesome experience! We were warmly welcomed from the time we got out of the car on our family road trip until we packed it up again to roll on down the road the next day. From the valet to the front desk to the in-house restaurant a very pleasant and friendly vibe. Hip without trying too hard. They treated our 2 young boys like princes and even shuttled us over to the local swimming hole. Best Beds on our 2wk vacation. Great Bend location for a walkabout.
