We had to stay in Boardman because of a family reunion being held there. The motel room we stayed in was suppose to be in the "newer" section. Maybe so if it was added on to in the '70s. Carpet was stained, colors where really outdated along with tv. It did have a larger than normal refrig. The bed had a low spot in the middle but was firm enough for us. The rooms were fairly quiet. Continnental breakfast, well, not much of one. Wouldn't stay here if just passing through the area. Rate was commensurate with room @ about $62's.

We originally had planned to stay in a hotel across the highway but when I read bad reviews on trip advisor we decided to go to the Rodeway Inn. The price was a little high I felt ($65) even with our veteran's discount but the room was clean and we needed a place to sleep so no complaints there.

This is a little hotel in a town along the Columbia River. It's clean, cheap and has a great pool. There were several contractors "living" there that were grilling and hanging out in the parking lot, adding a little bit of a small-town feel. They were all very friendly. Breakfast wasn't anything special.

Was skeptical about staying in Boardman - after all, there just isn't much there, but we were too tired to keep driving. The Rodeway Inn far surpassed my expectations. It was very clean. The beds were comfortable. They even had plates and utensils to use so we could prepare our own food (in the microwave), or buy a premade dinner in the lobby (there is only 1 restaurant in Boardman that I could find...). The staff was very friendly. And the hotel even allowed pets. And the price was right. Will definitely consider staying there again next time we pass through the gorge. The only drawback was that the hot water ran out more quickly than I would have liked (I like loooong showers), and the showerhead was at about 5'3".

I stayed here for a three day, two night hunting trip in the Boardman area. The rooms are fine but nothing too special. The bed was very comfortable and room was clean, if a bit run down. The staff was very friendly. The lobby also had some basic supplies, like soft drinks and snackfood. There is a small breakfast with bagels, coffee, and orange juice. The coffee was good and the orange juice hit the spot after a long morning on the river.

With the dog, the double room was about 75 bucks a night, perfectly affordable when split two ways. The place was packed with hunters when we were there, so if you are coming through during the waterfowl season consider calling ahead. Also, there is a lot of noise and lights in the parking lot from about three to five a.m., again due to all the hunters.

One suggestion is that the televisions should be replaced. They are ancient.

No one will ever confuse this place for the Hilton, but it was a good value for what it is: a motel in a small town along an interstate in Eastern Oregon.

My wife and I recently stayed here twice earlier this month, Once on the way to Billings, MT, then again on our way home to So. Oregon. The price was very competitive and the room had several amenties, ie. Microwave, refrig, coffee maker, alarm clock, etc. The room was very clean and a good firm bed, fresh linens, etc. The Hotel and grounds were very well-kept, office staff were very friendly and helpful. In the morning, the office staff had fresh coffee & pastries so it was a pleasant start to another long travel day. We travel through Boardman yearly and usually bring our RV and stay at the local RV Park & Marina but since it is now Winter Time, we just drove our car for our trip. We are very pleased with the Hotel and would stay here again and highly irecommend it to others. Thank You for a great place to stay! There are a couple of local restaurant which are also Good!

Room Tip: I think all of the rooms should be good as it is situated so you shouldn't experience any highwa...
