“Beautiful and challenging”

Salmon Run Golf Course
Reviewed 7 August 2014

I've never written a review before but felt compelled to do so after playing Salmon Run. This is one the most beautiful settings (if not most) I've ever been in to play golf. The layout is an excellent test of golf requiring accuracy, especially from the back tees where one needs to play out of chutes (which I love.) It is definitely worth the 1 1/2 drive from Bandon; you will not be disappointed!

About a 3 mile drive off 101 lies this picture perfect course that you will fall in love with. Im sure the locals want to keep it a secrete, but the truth is, they need visitor business to keep the place going. you will enjoy every hole here, many of which are so beautiful, you will stand in awe from the Tee box. Hence the name..... during parts of the season, Salmon do make there way up the creek that flows through the course. Deer are often seen also. The course is upgrading the clubhouse for better food etc and now had a Liquor license. Don't pass up the chance to play this course.

My husband and I were driving up the Coast on our way to Seattle. Had read a few things about the Salmon Run Golf Course and decided to make a side trip to play. Glad that we did. It was a fun course-- pretty, curvy and a little rough. Price was right. Pack a few extra balls. Don't want to get caught in a little poison ivy or brambles.

We were traveling up the coast from SF to Seattle and decided to play Salmon Run. It is a unique layout and worth playing if you are in the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The course was in good shape for this time of year and the pace of play for us was great. If you can't hit the ball straight better buy some extra balls as there are lots of opportunities to leave them at Salmon Run for someone else to find.

I would recommend this course to all.

The price is right and the course is demanding and beautiful. Friendly staff and neat little clubhouse. Very well laid out track and you cannot always hit driver off the tee. A few holes have long drops to the fairway or green. Some water and lots of trees. It is great standing on a par 3 and smelling the redwoods. Highly recommended for the amateur and low handicapper.
