I'll have to part with the crowd on this one. This is not even really a diner. There are a couple of plastic tables plopped down in a convenience store's floor space, right beside a potato chip rack. Our food was bland, soggy and barely recognizable as Mexican fare. The overall store/"diner" looked tired and dirty too. Where's the health food inspector in this town? I've eaten at better/cleaner places in the backwaters of Mexico. It seemed like a great option for workers, for grabbing a quick cheap meal, especially if you're too busy to care about the taste. I don't understand the other reviews here and I don't think I'm an overly picky diner.

This is a tiny Mexican Restaurant in a former gas station. Most people do take out, but they do have a few tables. In addition they sell snacks and drinks. The food is excellent. We highly recommend it.

This is a converted gas station, convenience store / restaurant, great for a quick Mexican homemade lunch. Pretty much self service, just order at the counter. They have a couple of small tables plus some counter seating. The food is freshly prepared and good. Don't go there for the atmosphere, just good, fresh food at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly.

No fast food Tex-Mex (Taco Bell type) here, but authentic Mexico type street food where the food is freshly cooked each day, assembled hot, and the choice of Red or Green sauce providing the necessary finishing touch to their staple of choices. They have very limited Americanized Tex-Mex offerings (like Nachos) so most of the Menu is variety of specialized cooked meat in Burritos and Tacos from Breakfast through Supper, with specialized dishes thrown in throughout the week like Pasole, Tamales, Menudo and the like (entree, or w/ rice & beans). This converted Gas Station (now a Grill with a quick in/out convenience store) has limited seating with just a few 2 seat tables and chairs and some counter stools at the window. Fear not as your Take Out will arrive home hot. Would love to provide a score of 5, but they would need to increase their salsa offerings beyond the current two of Red and Green.

Most authentic Mexican food you will find north of the CA border. Preorder your tamales a couple days ahead!
