“Danish roots for great bread and sandwiches”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 May 2014

Had a sandwich made to take with me for lunch.
The guys behind the counter were great (was actually a bit early, but they made it anyway) thank you
The bread was great, tastful and still airy enough. Al the stuff on the sandwich was even better, mmmmmmm. I really enjoyed it.

“Delicious Sandwich”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 May 2014

We split a sandwich at the Cannon Beach Bakery and also had a cappuccino and a double expresso. The total was $15. The sandwich was turkey on an excellent in-house Limpa rye bread with Tillamook Cheddar Cheese, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, avocado, and mayonnaise. The staff was very friendly and the sandwich was great. After the great sandwich, I decided to have a lemon bar which was tasty and delicious!

“Stale pastries, okay coffee”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 April 2014

We arrived early afternoon on Saturday. It looked promising as there were people in line ordering pastries, others ordering special coffee or sandwiches, and a few sitting on stools while eating. The pastry case was full and everything looked great. Sadly, looks can be deceiving. The Marion berry Danish was stale and the apple fritter had an off-flavor of frying oil used one too many times. On a positive note, the drip coffee and service was good, they had nice outdoor benches under a covered porch area and a friendly old Labrador dog named Ozzie Osbourne eyeing our pastries (hence, the mini dog biscuits for sale).

“Great Pastries!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 April 2014

We really enjoyed all of the nice pastries. I liked that they had basic donutes and some very nice other options like turnovers and danish's. Everything we bought was excellent and we had a whole box full! Like everything else in Cannon Beach they close early so check hours. We missed them one day and went early the next morning.

“It was OK”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 April 2014

We were in Cannon Beach on tuesday and they were closed so we made a trip the next day to make sure we made it to the bakery. They did not have Bismarks which were our main reason to go there. We tried other items. I remember this bakery from when I was a kid and how much we have enjoyed it over the years but something is gone. Nothing we bought was out standing and great. I like the bakery but not sure what has happened.
