Spent a great weekend in the Artist's Cottage at the Harrison Street Inn which was exactly what we hoped it would be and just as advertised on their website - clean, quiet, very well equipped, and handy for the beach.

This was our second visit to Cannon Beach. We especially liked the location of the Harrison Street Inn - very handy for the beach (1 block) and good restaurants, but a leisurely walk away from the centre of town where it can be a bit busy on weekends.

Our dealings with the owners by e-mail, before and after our visit, were terrific - very helpful, and friendly and prompt.

We'd definitely stay there again (and will go back to the Gower Street Bistro in the lobby of the historic Cannon Beach Hotel (2 blocks from the HS Inn) where we had a fabulous dinner on the Saturday night - reservations recommended).

We spent our 41st wedding anniversary here, and it was wonderful. Very nice husband and wife team who were wonderful to visit with. I have never seen rooms any cleaner. It was so relaxing. Each unit was different and unique. We want to stay here again and hope we can in the near future. Some of our children want to come stay with us. We are looking forward to returning.

We enjoyed our one night stay at the Harrison Street Inn in the middle of May 2005. The property is easy to find and walking distance from the main shops and restaurants in Cannon Beach. The front desk staff person was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and gave us good restaurant recommendations. The new Thai restaurant in town was fabulous. The room was clean, spacious, and had a full kitchenette and a small back patio with cute garden area. The choice of free movies and DVD/VCR was nice also. We would definitely stay here again.
