“My First Fish and Chips”
Reviewed 14 April 2014

The atmosphere is loud and casual. The restaurant is large and very open - you can see the kitchen and the ocean all at the same time. I had fish (halibut) and chips for the first time here and I, not a fish person, liked it! The fish came out of the fryer piping hot and it was perfect. The service is quick and it seems like a popular family joint.

“Great Clam Chowder and Fresh Bread!”
Reviewed 13 March 2014

We ordered the family style bucket of clam chowder and there was enough to fill 7-8 bowls for our crowd. You have to order the fresh bread on the side or the bread bowl as it was local and fresh made too. The clam chowder had lots of clams and just creamy enough. Thankfully they don't overload it with herbs. It may be a bit bland but nothing a little salt and pepper couldn't fix. You do sit on picnic bench type seating but the view out the windows are amazing!!!! Others in the party had the scallops and the fresh fish. It is a casual place and turnover is quick. Another locals spot to go to.

“The selling point here is the phonomenal view of the ocean from this Tolovana location!”
Reviewed 24 November 2013 via mobile

The view is incredible! Many people enjoy it and the eats, too, as this is fairly busy place.
One must like a thick with potatoe soup for their clam chowder one that the soup stands the sooon uo in the middle of. That, however is not my preference.
The menu then consists of deep fried fish. Fresh trucked in from Portland Fish that got it fresh from a wholesaler that got it fresh and came from God knows where, then trucked down from Portland, back to this part of the ocean.
Well located but not the best available on the north Oregon coast.
