Land's End is an all around great place. Right on the beach. Centrally located just steps from restaurants and shopping. We stayed in room 20 with a balcony with an ocean view. Great apartment style room with a cozy fireplace and jet tub. I feel like I could move right in. Friendly staff as well.

We stayed in Room 17 with our two dogs. The room has an impressive view of the ocean with two large picture windows. It has a patio with picnic table, grill, and many chairs. It's enclosed, so we felt comfortable letting our dogs go leash free out the patio door as long as there was no one there that they would bother. The only drawback here is that it's a public patio for the entire hotel. I wrongly assumed it was just for the 3 rooms connected to the patio. So anyone can sit and chat there or use the grill to cook up. If you're into socializing, this is a fine feature. If you want to walk naked in your livingroom, not so much! Although we thought of that as a way to clear the deck!! ha

The room is decorated in great colors with Ikea type furniture, very low key, tasteful and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had a great jacuzzi tub. The linens were good and spotless, although I would prefer a fitted bottom sheet rather than a flat sheet tucked in.

I have one "cleaning lady" suggestion for the nice folks who work there: Do a final wipe with Sprayway glass cleaner over the oven front and backsplash to remove fingerprints that can be seen clearly while sitting on the couch. I do not consider this a cleanliness problem, just the final "eye wash" that will give the place a great look.

We were given a big and friendly welcome from both the hosts, and I really felt that this welcome set the tone for every visitor there. They were both very attentive to our needs and questions and loving towards our pets.

Room Tip: If you want total privacy in your livingroom, find a room upstairs that is not connected to the pati...

If you have a dog and are interested in being able to walk to most all of the main street stores and restaurants and literally steps to the beach, you really can't beat this hotel. The location is just about unbeatable for the price. And a great coffee bar is right across the street. The beach is down one flight of stairs which are located just 10 yards from the hotel entrance.

Admittedly, this is not a Five Star luxury hotel. (Note, no daily maid service.). But the rooms look to be freshly painted, were very clean and met all the needs of a pet-friendly hotel. Plus the staff was very friendly, accommodating and sensitive to our needs.

One note, and this is not a criticism. Don't confuse "oceanfront" with "ocean view". I have read some posts complaining that they reserved "oceanfront" , but their room had no view. The entire hotel is "oceanfront", but not all rooms have an ocean view.

All in all, good value for pet -friendly resort oceanfront accommodations.

Room 14, great little two bedroom with side view of the water and nice separation from other units. We visited there with our grandchildren and the accommodations and easy beach access worked well for us.

Room Tip: We liked room 14, it doesn't directly face the ocean, yet has a nice side view to the surf.

We have stayed here several times over the last few years and we will definitely keep going back. It is such a great place for families.

The rooms are very nice. They have suites available which is great when you have kids. The suites have kitchenettes that are well stocked. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. I think most of their rooms have been newly remodeled within the last year or so. The price is very reasonable when you compare it to other hotels in the area.

The hotel has a private deck that blocks much of the wind and you can sit outside and have a drink and watch the sunset. And there are small things they offer that really make a difference: a water hose with a sprayer so you can clean your feet and toys; books and movies to borrow; and beach toys to take to the beach while you are a guest.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Right off the beach for easy access. And right in the middle of downtown Cannon Beach so you can walk to all the shops and restaurants.

Service is always excellent. Friendly and attentive.

Room Tip: The rooms with the views are great. We usually stay in room 25 (our favorite). It has a full magnif...

We needed a place to stay, short notice. Luckily Land's End had a room. We had a corner room with a beautiful view of the ocean. The stairs to the beach were practically outside the door. They have a huge porch out front with comfortable chair right on the beach. The rooms weren't like your average hotel. They were modern, warm and cozy and felt like someone "cared" when decorating. The rooms were huge. The couple at the front desk were sooo nice.
They had movies and books that could be borrowed. They couldn't have been nicer. We had had a very long car trip and stayed in many hotels. This was the best. I'd definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Ask for ocean front. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is we were looking forward to the hot tub and...

Our family stayed in room 14 at Land's End and had a wonderful time. We had a kitchenette in our room, which helped us save money on food, and the staff at the hotel was very helpful and friendly. The room was large and clean with a nice view of the Tillamook lighthouse. Land's End also has a, private for guests only, deck facing the beach to sit on and have a drink while enjoying the view.
