Arrived at the hotelat check in. The first room we were given had a terrible smell and everything was damp. We spoke to the front desk and were given another room. This one had beds that were hard as a rock, a tv which barely worked and some splattered crap in the bathroom that looked like dried blood and went all the way to the cieling.

My wife and I have been coming back here for years on our yearly shopping trips. Over the past couple of years the property has been getting tired. Our stay this month will be our last. The door to our room was all stained and dirty looking. The carpet was stained. The bathtub was stained. The cable reception for the TV was very poor. We were given a room on the ground floor near one of the main entrances. We had to listen to the door banging shut on and off for most of the evening. The area where people need to go outside and smoke was right outside our window so we were subjected to loud conversations until 2 am and then starting again at 6 am. We turned on the air conditioner to try and drown out the noise but it packed it in after about an hour. We were unable to connect to the internet for the whole stay. When I asked about it the front desk advised it was down for the entire hotel. My wife and I are pretty easy to please but this stay was hopeless; We were neither comfortable or rested.

Room Tip: If you really need to stay here, make sure you get the top floor.

I dont know about you but when I look for a hotel I look for

* A clean room with a clean bed ~ they have that here
* Working stuff (tv, hair dryer, fridge etc) ~ they have that I just had to plug it in which was odd
* breakfast ~ they have it .. a bit basic as there is only waffles, minimal fruit, bread and cut up muffins but it does the job of saving you spending on breakfast
* walkable area so you can get to dining and shopping ~ its about a 10 minute walk across a well lit bridge that crosses the highway ~ I did this as a female at night and felt safe .. there was Target, Nordstrom Rack, a movie theater, mall and tons of dining .. you shouldnt need more
* Transit nearby ~ the main transit line is a 10 minute walk
* Friendly and helpful staff ~ PJ at the front desk wins and actually remembered stuff I didnt even remember. The guy deserves to be running a hotel not just working at one

So yeah overall it is and has what you need .. it doesnt have the extras that you pay for at the bigger hotels... plush towels, more elaborate breakfast etc but you dont need it. Also as people say call in advance about the shuttle ... you cant do it day of. Also you will need to lift your own bag in and out the lady who drove had little interest in helping ... that might be the one thing I would change
