Sandlake Country Inn is the inn of choice for us in the future. Our stay was superb the entire stay and this was made possible by the wonderful innkeeper who made us feel special and at home.

The lovely personal pampering touches in our room were appreciated and helped us to relax. From the lovely breakfasts to the jacuzzi tub and the nice towels plus special bubble baths and lotions.

The bed is very comfortable and it's quiet. You can actually sleep and rest and not be bothered.

The 4 course breakfasts are to die for and the skill Diane has in the kitchen is wonderful. You never know what the delicous surprise will be waiting for you on the tray outside your door. That was another wonderful thing about this restful place, you ate in the privacy of your room so you didn't have to function with strangers early in the morning and if you didn't want to leave your room early for breakfast you didn't have to.

We'll definitely stay there again any time we are on the Oregon coast. Most wonderful place. old Tartan

My husband and I stay at Sandlake 3 or 4 times a year, but this was the first time we went in the Spring. What an amazing time we had! The flowers were blooming and the birds were active, what a peaceful time we had! As usual, Diane and Ron went out of their way to make us feel completely pampered and taken care of. The food was exceptional, the privacy divine, and when we wanted it, the company was outstanding! I can't give enough praise to this wonderful place! My husband and I (like everyone else) have incredibly stressful careers, so it helps us get through the rough times knowing we have our next vacation at Sandlake Country Inn to look forward to. We usually take day trips to Lincoln City, Depoe Bay, or Tillamook... but even if we just stay in the room all day, it's a complete delight!! Thank you thank you thank you Ron and Diane!!!

Diane and Ron's magic weaves the balance of serene privacy and superior service in one of the most pastoral, stunningly peaceful settings on earth! The Sandlake Country Inn is where we want to return again and again for reconnecting with each other and rejuvenating ourselves. The setting is absolutely beautiful; it is surrounded by lush meadows and thick woods and yet sits only a mile from the rugged Oregon coastline. The Timbers Suite and The Starlight Suite have been our choices thus far and each offers everything one would dream up for pampering, romancing and pure indulgence. The Sandlake Country Inn's breakfasts are the most delicious and perfectly presented meals which are offered in the privacy of your suite or on your private patio/deck! This charming Bed & Breakfast is conveniently located to some of the most popular sites in the state; but realize, once you step onto the property, you won't want to follow an agenda. You won't want to leave. We'll be back!

We spent three nights at Sandlake Country Inn in mid July. The rooms were nicely appointed, and spacious. We especially appreciated the location, which allowed us to explore the scenic Oregon coast both to the north and south. You could not have wished for a more attentive or thoughful host than Diane. The breakfasts were delicious, and the picnic she prepared for us was the envy of everyone else on the beach. I have severe food and additive-related allergies, and Diane was wonderful in making sure that I could eat the meals she prepared. For those who want to quiet and romantic get-away, we strongly recommend Sandlake Country Inn. We hope to return if we are ever on the Oregon coast again.

We just returned from two nights at the Sandlake Country Inn and what a treat it was! The rooms are spacious, clean and very well-appointed. There was even an anniversary "treat" for us on our bed upon arrival. Diane and Ron are very hospitable and helpful with restaurants, activites etc., yet they also give you privacy. We were a bit hesitant to not be on the beach, but the gardens and peacefulness of this inn were so wonderful that we didn't mind the very short drive to the beach. Breakfast was delicious! I can't say enough about how tasty the food was and the variety that was included each day. It was a perfect get away for our anniversay and a weekend with out kids! We highly recommend the Sandlake Country Inn if you are looking for a quiet, comfortable place on the Oregon coast.

This was my first experience with a B and B and found it extraordinary. My sweetheart and I stayed in the cottage with everything you need for a private, romantic weekend away. We are from California and look forward to going back in the near future. The jacuzzi tub was heavenly; the fireplace was cozy and romantic. The food compares to that of a 5 star hotel and is delivered to your door. The "livingroom" in the main house is warm and welcoming and homemade ookies are always available!! There's also a piano for those who want to "wander the ivories". Diane and Ron are warm, hospitable hosts welcoming you as if you are family. A must trry!!!

We just returned from our annual weekend of romance, rest, and relaxation at our favorite getaway: Sandlake Country Inn. It's hard not to gush about this little B&B tucked away on a country road on the Oregon Coast. The first time we stayed there, I was continuously surprised by those "little things" that made me feel so warm and welcome and utterly pampered. From the worn-in "homeiness", to the home-baked cookies and hot drinks awaiting us upon arrival, to the bathrobes and slipper socks, to the wonderful array of sweet-smelling lotions and bubble baths, to.....you get the idea. The in-room jacuzzi tub, fireplace, DVD player, small fridge, and dining table are great features too. Our favorite aspect though, bar none, is the hot 5-course (roughly) breakfast that is served on a tray or a basket to your door. You simply have to pull in your breakfast, pop a soothing CD into the player, and feast! No worries about getting up early, looking decent, and painting on a social smile as you join a table full of strangers for breakfast. It's such a large and delicious breakfast, you don't have to eat again until dinnertime! We are in the habit of bringing wine, cheese, deli meats, etc, and NOT LEAVING the room for 2 solid days; this is of course, more appealing during the winter months when sun and beach aren't beckoning. If you're looking to truly get away for some deserved R&R&R (rest, relaxation, romance), you really must try this place.
