“Wine Tasting Napa Trip”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

Great Place to stay. We arrived tired and hungry after traveling all day. The staff checked us in quickly, gave us great direction to our room, and even called the room to see if there was anything else they could do and make sure the room was to our satisfaction. The staff provided a list of places to eat, distance, and directions. Breakfast was outstanding.

This hotel is in the middle of the Rt 101 south bound and north bound median and walking distance to downtown. The staff are very welcoming and helpful and tried to accommodate our room requests; the hotel was full, so we were only marginally successful. My biz partner commented that his room was very comfortable and he enjoyed the full breakfast before our day of meetings. My room was stuffy and musty smelling when I arrived, although was very clean. I turned on the HVAC to cool and high fan, which helped in the short term. At bedtime I tried to keep the HVAC system on to keep the air moving and drown out the road noise. Likely by design for energy efficiency, the fan would not stay on, even set at 60 degrees & high, but cycled on/off all night long; the on/off noises made it tough to sleep and inconsistent air flow. The bed was comfortable. Also, the sink faucet water pressure was so low it was hard to rinse face or teeth quickly. Another "efficiency?" In the morning the breakfast buffet appeared to be fresh, well stocked, with hot scrambled eggs, sausage, etc. There were also bread/pastry items and the coffee was pretty good. All said, this hotel is adequate for a one-night stay.

Room Tip: There are no "view rooms" and due to the physical location of the hotel, all rooms suffer...

We were only going to stay one night here but there was so much going on in town that we decided to stay another night. They were able to keep us in the same room with no problem. The room was big and very comfortable. The pool area was really nice also. Staff were really friendly.
Not a bad breakfast either although it was so busy they ran out of room. It was nice that it was in town and lots of places within walking distance. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: We were on the back side which was a little noisy when you had the window open but the noise didn...

We stopped over here just for one night whilst on a road trip. The front desk staff were very friendly and had a good knowledge of the local places to eat late at night.
The room was a totally standard motel room. Slightly dated, but generally clean. Just what's expected for the price.
It was a little off putting that there were people hanging around right outside our room late at night, but they didn't cause any harm.
Breakfast was a selection of a few cereals, bagels and pastries, fruit, eggs and sausage. Not a huge selection, but enough seeing as it was included in the price.
This hotel wasn't anything the write home about so would only stay here again if I happened to be in the area and there was nowhere nicer to stay.

We stayed here on our way from San Fran up the Orgean coast. We booked it while on the road so wasnt sure what to expect. The staff were friendly and followed up with a phonecall to check if everything was ok about 15 mins after check in. Room decor was a bit dated but the bed linen and towels were crisp white and fresh. Was a bit noisy as next to freeway. The lobby sells wine and snacks which was handy after a day of driving. Breakast was included. Overall, a good experience for what we needed.

The plus in the name doesn't add any additional amenities to the stay that I could find however with that being said, the room was clean and neat. Towels are fresh and plenty of them. Check in and check out was easy enough. One complaint handicap room is big and easy to get around in wheelchair however no chair in shower to transfer to. F grade for that. Otherwise ok hotel.

Best Western was very helpful with good service and wonderful breakfast. Rooms were well furnished with working appliances and large TV. Only thing was, it was located between two highways which was alittle noisy.
