My family of four stayed at the Salbasgeon Suites in Corvallis Oregon twice over the past two weeks and would definitely recommend the accomodations provided. We had a one bedroom suite (king bed with jacuzzi in separate, close the door, bedroom) with a pull-out queen or double (not sure!) sleeper in the outer living room for the kids. There was also a full kitchen - big fridge, microwave, oven with range and small sink in the outer room adjacent to the living room. The bathroom was not large, but it was immaculate and seemed brand new. We paid $117 a night for the one-bedroom suite - pretty reasonable given the fabulous rooms.

The rooms were clean, well kept, and seemingly newer. The hotel staff were helpful and accomodating. I stepped on a tiny piece of glass in our room the first day we were there, and they came right down when called with the vacuum to prevent further problems. They also brought extra towels and pillows when asked immediately, and always respected the "do not disturb" sign when we had it out. The lobby was very nice and we picked up free newspapers at the front desk every morning. My kids thought the indoor pool was awesome!

My only complaint was that the food was awful - we ate most breakfasts (they were free) and one dinner there, but finally resorted to the Chinese food place and Starbucks that were in walking distance, or food in our room. If it hadn't been for the food issue, I would have given Salbasgeon Suites five stars! I have already recommended it to family and friends and would go back in a heartbeat.

Now that they have added a restaurant to the Salbasgeon in Corvallis, it's hard to beat this hotel. It's my first choice for accomodations in this city.

Clean, comfortable rooms and a step or two above their other location in Reedsport, Oregon. While the Salbasgeon in Reedsport is a very nice Motel, the Corvallis property is a nice Hotel.

We stayed at the Salbasgeon Suites for 3 nights. We'd been travelling for 2 weeks, and it was a welcome respite from the noisy rooms (even in expensive hotels) we'd been to. The beds were super comfy, the free hot breakfast was great, and it was great to catch up on email on our own in-room computer. All in all, a great deal. Thanks!
