“Good value!”
Reviewed 20 July 2008

We stayed here 1 nite, July 20 for DaVinci Days festival for only $49!!! For the price we got a clean room with decent bed & new flat screen full size TV, plus microwave. Best of all it was on the river right downtown, with all the best restaurants within a five minute walk, and free parking. Great bang for the buck!

I checked in with minor difficulties, but after going to my room- (across the alley from the bar) The room was very run down & dirty. The bathroom looked like something from an old gas station , the bathroom door had a hole knocked in it , the bed was so filthy I could'nt force myself to spend one night in it. I left & checked into the super 8. ..... save money ....buy a tent.

Excellent location right on the river. There is a bus that you can catch that will take you right to Rezer.

We stayed in a room with 4 queen sized beds. Most were broken in one way or another. One of the box springs had feces on it. The view from our room was through a screenless dirty window of a auto body shop. The bathroom door didnt shut completely and the toilette was loose.

i walked barefoot in the morning and my feet would stick to the carpet. Its the stuff that you find in the cheapest of rentals plus a bunch of dead DNA. I stayed with two other guys and we all agreed that this was the dirtiest hotel that we have ever been in.

I thought for sure that I was going to get crabs or scabies from sleeping in the bed but I didnt. That was a win!

If cleanliness is your "thing", this motel won't satisfy. The carpet was stained, the upholstered chairs were gross and stained, and the blanket had cigarette holes burned in it. The grout in the bathroom tile was discolored and stained. The TV worked but was so old, it had no remote and was begging to be put out of its misery. No coffee/tea in the room. Lampshades were dusty. A meager "breakfast" in the office in the morning. The only advantage to staying here is that it is close to downtown Corvallis. I wish I had taken photos that I could post with this review. Don't waste your money!

This hotel needs some serious sprucing up. Everything appears to be very old and in need of a fresh paint job. I don't mean quaint old, but ugly 70s budget hotel old.

Someone must have spent a lot of money on those magnavox TVs in the 80s, 'cuz they're still using them. Also a clock radio would apparently have broken the bank.

I think they did recently replace the mattresses in our room, so that was good. Otherwise the place needs work. Depressing decor and absolutely no extras of any kind whatsoever. I know it's a budget hotel, but it the atmosphere was almost punitive. Give it a fresh coat of paint and fresh carpet, add a clock to the rooms, put some area brochures in the lobby, and maybe it would be a nice place to stay on a budget.
