I have a vintage camper. I love vintage campers. They did a nice job with having the vintage camper section to one side. However, you can immediately tell that this is owned by a corporation. It is very expensive and is run like a hotel, but yet they still charge an extra cleaning fee like a sharing community situation. Nearly all of the items for use in the campers have price tags (wine, robes). The bathrooms are difficult to find (many camper showers leave a lot to be desired as far as space, so the public showers are important). The hot tub was "closed for the season" and it is hot tub season. It was raining, as it does in the valley, and one of the campers we had rented had a steady stream of water coming in the roof, soaking part of the bed. They switched us to another camper. Basically, it just feels corporate and you end up feeling nickeled and dimed. Also, many of the campers are the 2015 Shasta anniversary models. Recap: Good idea. Feels corporate. High price tag. Right off of a busy highway, so easy to find, but road noise.

My husband and I live in Salem and wanted a little couples getaway over Thanksgiving weekend. We got online and easily booked the Airstream Sovereign. We arrived at the resort, checked in quickly and were cozy in our trailer within minutes. Electric fireplace was on and it was incredibly warm and welcoming. It was blustery and raining outside, all the permission we needed to stay inside, drink wine, eat take out pizza from red hills market, watch Sunday night football on our laptop and play cards. I can see how the resort would be very fun in the warmer, drier months with outdoor seating, BBQ's and vintage bikes at every trailer. But honestly, it was so charming and wonderful to hunker down and relax in the clean, well appointed Airstream. I loved the coffee that was provided, the linens, bath products and games. Great attention to detail. I'll include some photos.

Two things to mention that were not obvious when booking: Even if your trailer has a kitchen stove, it is not functional. Totally understandable, wanting to eliminate fire risk and all...but I brought food to prepare for dinner that I ended up keeping in the fridge and taking home...hence the take out pizza (which was super delicious). Also, there is a $25 cleaning fee that isn't noted until you book. After we booked and saw over $33 in taxes and fees on a $100 per night trailer charge, we called to inquire. $8 was tax. $25 was the cleaning fee. Not a deal breaker for us, but would have been nice to know up front.

Overall, such a fun and unique getaway that I am sure we will do again!!

It was so much fun.The trailer was immaculate with great fluffy white towels, robes etc. Of course tight quarters. The staff were amazing.. Helped with getting the grill going, putting the awning out and so much more. Loved the general store stocked with lots of very cool gifts. Their lounge area is all mid century modern. I didnt use the public showers but went to see the shower facilities- clean and up to date.!

Room tip: Look online to see each trailer. They all have names and you can choose from there.

I loved this place! I was looking for something out of the ordinary to celebrate my birthday. So glad we close The Vintages. The Vintage RV's are arranged nicely allowing enough space. Ours was the 1953 Vagabond, one of the larger models. It had a nice sized bathroom, a fully stocked kitchen, a very comfortable bed, and nice area for sitting. I loved the bikes provided, the patio with grill and table for enjoying the outdoors. We visited one of the nearby wineries and came back with our bottle of wine and just enjoyed the ambiance of the vintage RV. The people in the office were super friendly and helpful.

Room tip: Look for a trailer on the outside perimeter. They have a large open field giving more feeling of privacy.

I stayed here with a group of 12, renting 6 trailers. We came out from Portland for a wine tasting weekend, and we loved it!
Each of these trailers were so adorable and unique! Very clean and with cozy beds and high quality linens and robes. The pool is also great! We used the clubhouse for a big dinner, which looks like it was designed by one of those bloggers who stages all the perfect photo shoots with all the adorable things! Very mid-century modern meets California boho meets vintage glam. (It should be noted that there is a rental charges for use of the clubhouse). At night the little street with all of the vintage trailers is lit up with twinkle lights and is so cute! We loved the bikes too!
The staff of on-site were absolutely delightful and went out of their way to help us out and make us feel welcome. Each and every one of us said we would stay here again.
I almost hesitated writing this review for the fact that it might be harder to book a place the next time we want to go, but that would be too selfish of me!
