we went here twice with friends for dinner.
The first time, dinner was ok but very pricey. Nothing special about it. When one of us ordered bread pudding, it came with boubon sauce - not good for someone who doesn't do alcholic beverages. Waitress didn't offer to exchange it for one without boubon sauce and didn't take it off the bill.
The second time, we went for burgers and ended up walking out because of rude wait staff. After taking half the order, the waitress was distracted by questions from the next table and just left us to go talk to the other table. And not for just a minute. When she did come back, no apology for leaving our table mid-order and copped an attitude. Said she couldn't hear us because it was too noisy at the next table, so said she'd come back to us when the table next door quieted down! Huh? Before all this happened and we walked out, two of the four of us had ordered burgers. Could not believe we had to pay extra for onion! If you want onion, cheese, or another extras on the burger, you pay for each extra. A slice of onion - really!!??
Now it's a joke every time we drive by Sea Hag, about going there for abuse. In my 60+ years in this world, I've only walked out of a restaurant once before. It is stressful and shouldn't have to happen when you go out to pay for a relaxing dinner. We went on to 101Burgers in Lincoln City and had an extremely positive experience with the friendly, service-oriented owner. Burgers were excellent at 101Burgers! Go there - save yourself stress of Gracie's Sea Hag.
