We stayed here because they had a bar and restaurant. Big mistake! The bartender was incredibly rude. He completely ignored us, so my husband went up to the bar to order. The guy said, "take a seat, I'll get to you." He was too busy chatting with the one other person in the bar! I asked him if they had any bar snacks and he barked no. It was pretty awful. Then we went into the restaurant for dinner. It was quite dated in there and almost empty. My husband like his prime rib and my crab Louis was adequate. The whole place needs a complete makeover and the bartender needs to be fired.

Perfectly adequate food, and pretty good value, but the atmosphere is a bit depressing.

Very good service, however!

The place needs some cosmetic updates, and could be quite nice, given the view they have there.

We have eaten here for lunch several times and always thought the food was good and the view to die for. Built on a bluff overlooking the ocean and small bay, it affords a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean and beaches below. We went with two other couples for dinner recently and were reminded of how it lacked in a theme or some type of ocean atmosphere. It was simply plain tables and booths. (I remember in the 1950 & 60's, this place had a tropical, as in a Trader Joe's theme and was quite impressive. I believe they could reinstate that theme to their benefit again today since that particular theme is being reintroduced in several areas of the country, at least in Portland, Or.).
Our waiter was good in his attention to us, but did not remember who ordered what, but it was not annoying or offensive. Our food was presented nicely and hot. We will go back, but sure sh they would add some atmosphere to the place. A tropical décor would be a good fit for this older established venue.
The resort attached to this restaurant has wonderful rooms with great views as well.

great for all ages and the food portions are great. They have many substitutions if you wish you need and anyone can pretty much get anything there.

The food was really good. Good price for the atmosphere and service. The view from our table was one of the best on the Oregon Coast.
