The Channel House Inn is our favorite hotel on the Oregon Coast. we've been there during Memorial Day for the past 2 years. Both times the hotel and staff were excellent. We love the tempurpedic bed, jacuzzi tub on the deck and watching thw whales and boats going into and out of the harbor. You can walk to everything in Depoe Bay and there is plenty to do and good places to eat. The hotel has standing reservation times at various hotels and are happy to make them for you. You do get special treatment at the restaurants when you are a CHannel House guest! The breakfast is very nice and full featured.

My husband and I stayed here on a Sunday evening. We stayed in the smallest, most affordable room "Crow's Nest". It has a double bed, yet really it has everything you could want. The bathroom was spotless. It looks like they even take the time to polish the shower door. The bathroom floor, even around the toilet, (Yes, I do look) was spotless. For a picky person like myself and my husband, we notice these little details!
The only thing I would say as a suggestion, would be to get a small, flat screen tv and mount it on the wall. That way it would free up the dresser for a little more space.
The morning breakfast, made by "Terri" was very nice, with a nice ocean view. It is in a cozy room with a woodstove.
For dinner, you gotta go to "Tidal Raves". Great food, ambience, staff, and price is good too. Maybe make reservations, because even on a Sunday nite, early, the place was packed!
Yes, I highly recommend Channel House!

Channel House Inn was amazing. The rooms were white glove clean, cozy and romantic. It had high end features and the bed was unbelievable. It was so quiet and cozy that we felt we were there totally alone. The views from the room and the hot tub were, I feel, the very best in Depot Bay. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. My sister and her husband were so empressed by our stay that they will be going next month. When we go back again, it is definitely where we will stay!!!

We have stayed there before and felt the need to go back again to revisit Channel House. The staff (esp Sarah) is excellent, and make you feel as if you are in her home. The room we stayed in felt totally private and was very comfortable. Awesome ocean view/channel view from our room, and exceptionally clean. The mattress/platform bed combination is the best of any place we have ever stayed. Highly recommend it.

We'd seen the reviews on Trip Adviser, and they are right! We stayed in the Foredeck room with a fabulous view over the channel and a hot tub on the deck. The room was really cozy with a gas fire and sofa, and the bed was so comfortable. There's something was specil about hearing the roar of the sea from your bed! Can't fault a thing!
