“Enjoyable stay”
Reviewed 22 August 2014

We stayed here for 10 days while exploring the central coast of Oregon. It is a well maintained campgrounds with beach access. We stayed the farthest from the beach in a well shaded, semi-level space. We were close to our neighbors, but still able to put the RV slides out. The walk to the beach was slightly hilly and you needed to travel down multiple steps and over some rocks to get access, but the beach was spectacular. The sunsets, when it is not misty, grey and cloudy, were amazing to watch. We enjoyed visiting Depoe Bay, Newport, Lincoln City and all points in between. A wonderful vacation, we will be back!

2 hrs west of Portland, through ever-changing scenery, finds us at this resort. Charlene, the most generous and helpful of Manager's greets us as long lost friends and as held our RV site for an extra day as we were delayed. We stayed in the "Forest" section - beautifully treed, very clean, great fire pit and full service hook-ups. The whole campground is extraordinarily well maintained and huge thanks to Steve who removed some over-hanging branches so as not to scratch our motor-home. Ultra clean washrooms. A short walk to the Pacific Ocean and the campground is centrally located to whale watching (saw 4 without trying very hard), seals, golfing, hiking and paddleboarding. One hour south is dune bugging on the sand and much more. Travelling down the Oregon coast this is a must stop for the RVer!

Room Tip: The Forest campsites are next to Hwy 101 where you could expect road noise...we were at the campgrou...

The staff here was very nice and helpful. We did get one of the last spots available, so we were right on "ocean drive" in a relatively short space. We travelled in a 19 foot travel trailer, so we fit. We were in the "forest" section, so we had shade. I saw other nearby RV places that were full sun and really close to 101. I didn't notice highway noise. It was quiet at night - after the fireworks were done :) We slept well. It was a 5 minute walk to the ocean. There is a fire pit, which we did not use. The smoke from other people fires was a bit bothersome. They did away with fire pits at the "ocean" sites. However, we were there on the 4th of July and they had lots of fireworks smoke. We walked over there at night on the 5th and there was lots of bon fires on the beach, so it seems they have some smoke too.

We stopped here on the second day of a 21 day RV trip and wish we could have stayed longer. Friendly staff, great facilities, and views that are hard to beat. Make sure you get an ocean view spot for your RV - it's worth the cost. All facilities were clean and up-to-date, and you are close to what you would need to fuel up yourself or your rig for your trip. Make sure to stop here before heading to the Sea Lion Cove!

Nice rv park, full hook up, and you could walk right down to the beach which was beautiful. Clean and updated. Showers and laundry facilities. ( charges applied to laundry and showers). Right by the road but you couldn't hear the traffic..it's and hour away from McMinnville to the airplane museum, and 40 minutes to Lincoln outlet malls! worth a night or two. The top is the "Forrest" were you can have fires, and pull throughs, the hill is all back ins and were also nice, the bottom was the best if you enjoy watching waves and hearing the ocean all night! I think that was the best spots.

Room Tip: The bottom of the rv park is right over looking the water, the Forrest is the top, we stayed in the...

Last night of a 4 night stay at Sea and Sand RV Park. We've had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The restrooms and showers near the view sites look new. They are large, warm, and clean. They have ADA accessible toilets and showers. There are 30 sites with awesome views of the ocean from 3 tiered levels. If you need to be near the restrooms/showers, choose the upper level. Also, the sites are quite narrow and if you tow a big rig or are towing a vehicle, you may not be able to park your vehicle at your campsite or have to park it in your "front yard". Staff were friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and would love to come back again! Free WiFi was down for about a day while we were here, but for the most part, was quite reliable. There is also free cable, but since we didn't use it, can't comment.

You are steps away from ocean. We had ocean view site. We sat in rv and we had excellent ocean view. Our site protected from wibd by pretty shrubery. Great wifi. Clean bathrooms and a laundromat. Paperback trade library and movie rentals. 4 miles of sandy beach to walk. Shopping close by, and picturesque village of Depoe Bay 2 miles away. We loved it there. No crowds. No problems. I miss it already.
