There was a constant parade of whales for our viewing pleasure. Ours was a trip for rest and relaxation and that is exactly what we found at the Whales Rendezvous. The rooms were beautifully(and newly) decorated and very comfortable and quiet and more than spottless and clean. And I can't say enough nice things about our hosts Joe and Dian. They could not have been more accomadating. And Joe's breakfasts were to die for and they were presented with care in our suite(or garden if we desired). Every attention to detail from the lovely decks and gardens to the beautiful suites and comfy beds and bedding, the special little daily snacks and stocked kitchen area is evidence Joe and Dian love what they are doing.

Whale's Rendezvous is top notch! The view is awesome, the decor and craftsmanship of the rooms are unbelievable. The breakfast, delicious. We have never stayed at such a beautiful place. Joe and Dian are awesome hosts and genuinely kind people. This was our honeymoon trip and they made it even more special. We felt very comfortable and at home during our stay. We want to come back someday soon, when we can see the whales in the cove. Five star all the way!

Whale Rendezvous is absolutely perfect. We had the Sea Rose suite, and it is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and private. The breakfast, served en suite, was excellent (beg for the cinnamon french toast with pecans!) Dian and Joe are terrific hosts. This B&B is one of the best kept secrets of the Oregon Coast, but it won't be a secret for long. Depoe Bay is the most delightful town, all shops and restaurants within walking distance, and whales right out your front window. I can't recommend this B&B highly enough.

Our stay at Joe and Dian's was one of the best weekends ever. The view was outstanding as well as the service. Our Breakfast was one not soon to be forgotten, as it was absolutely top notch. We will return as well as tell others to do the same. The hospitality was wonderful, the rooms seemed to put you in a romance novel. Great Job Joe and Dian.

We found Whales Rendezvouz through bedandbreakfast.com. When first driving up we were a little worried. From the road the bed and breakfast is very small and unassuming. In spite of this, we were greeted with smiles and led to our room through our own private entrance. We had a garden patio area complete with a chiminea for a small fire and a separate outdoor area for whale watching. I can't stress enough how exceptional these private areas were. We sat for several hours each day watching whales and sipping wine. Our room included a love seat directly in front of a very large window where we also sat and watched the ocean and the whales. Our bed was extremely comfortable and we appreciated the small refrigerator, gas fireplace and microwave. The attention to detail was outstanding. Everything was exceptionally clean and well kept. Our private breakfast included fresh and organic local ingredients and was wonderfully tasty and very hearty. A great find.

Choice of 2 suites. Ours had 180 view of the Bay with large windows, deck and very private gardens. Hosts were personable, warm and catered to our every needs. Real gourmet breakfast served in suite. A very relaxing vacation. can't wait to return.

We stayed at the Whales Rendezvous in early August and really loved it. The innkeepers (Joe and Dian) are wonderful. Our room looked right out onto the ocean and we saw whales playing just offshore everyday. The room was very cozy and had all the things you need to survive (refrig, coffee pot, and microwave). The bathroom is great and has a full sized jet tub. All the fixtures are updated and the shower is very nice even for a big guy. They supplied coffee and sodas and water along with cookies to snack on. In the morning breakfast is served in your room and it’s fantastic. Everything was fresh and the presentation was really nice. The room itself had a TV with DVD’s along with satellite. The big open windows are nice to look out when you are not on the lovely deck. The garden entrance is private and Dian is helpful with tips on where to dine and what to do. In the evening Dian brought down a nice desert to enjoy. We loved traveling the Oregon coast and the Whales Rendezvous was one of the highlights of the trip. We high recommend this spot to stay and we will return one day.
