Description: Tinas opened in October 1991. The restaurant, which seats 55 guests, has a comfortable bar, and the two intimate dining rooms are divided by a fireplace. Like many of our fellow chefs, we believe that the best food is organically grown. Our search for these foods led us out of the city and into the countryside where we work closely with a great group of farmers. We're closer to the source of what goes onto your plate, and we believe that the opportunity to cook in a wine growing region lends our food a context and flavor and experience that is unbeatable. The menu is based on the foods that our farmer/neighbors grow: seasonal, and regional. Most of the wines that we feature come from just down the road. We are committed to using the best ingredients, and our menu changes as we move through the seasons of the year. Under New Ownership since June 13, 2015, Tina's continues to be a Wine Country Standard, not to be missed. Long time, veteran employees Dwight McFaddin (22yrs), and Michael Stiller (14 years) and their wives have re-energized the Restaurant and have lured back Chef Norma Buchholz (6 yrs) to create a new environment based on all that is best about Tina's and the Wine Country of Yamhill County.

“Delicious!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 October 2013

My husband and I decided to try Tina's for dinner after doing some wine tasting. We knew prior that it was going to be a little spendy, but it was worth it. The cocktails were perfect; my husband had an Old Fashioned, I had a French 75. The Corn Soup was outstanding! I would love to have the recipe! They were also helpful in knowing which entree's were safe for being Gluten Free. It is a dinner worth saving up for!

“Outstanding service and food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 October 2013

This restaurant is a keeper, as in, keeping it on the must-go-to list the next time we're in the Dundee, OR area. Our server was outstanding; funny, uber-knowledgeable, fast, funny, funny.. did I say funny? Who gets a server with a great, quick wit and sense of humor anymore?! We lucked out with this gentleman. The food is the real show here; wow, a feast for the eyes and for the palate, equally. From the creative appetizers (the duck pâté is to die for) all the way through, everyone's meals (there were four of us) were as good as we've had anywhere in the country. Sadly, we were too full for desert and that was a real shame because they sounded excellent.

Who knew a place like this existed in Dundee, Oregon?! Being in the midst of the world-famous Oregon wine country surely helps this restaurant find discerning clients with enough expendable income to pay a little more for a lot more quality. I highly recommend this great, great restaurant.

“A delicious lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 October 2013

Despite the fact that there is only one waitress for the entire restaurant on a weekday for lunch, we enjoyed pretty much the entire experience at Tina's, The pan fried oysters tasted of the sea and were perfectly cooked, the pate plate was delicious, with oh-so-slightly pickled onions and a wonderfully pungent mustard. The bread is warm, but the butter, unfortunately, is hard. For entrees the fish tacos were generous in the amount of perfectly cooked fish, but not extraordinary in flavor. the pork loin sandwich is full of flavor, and that pungent mustard was partially responsible, but didn't detract from the overall yummieness of the sandwich. The onion rings would have been perfect, except for the fact that the oil in the deep fryer needed a change; you could taste old and used in the first bite of the onion ring. Overall, with a nice wine list that complements the food, we would definitely visit again. And the service was excellent.

“A Gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 October 2013 via mobile

Tina 's was recommended by both our innkeeper and a vintner. We were delighted with this place. The goat cheese, peach and pistachio bruschetta was a superb appetizer. My husband ordered the duck, and I had the braised beef short ribs. Both were served on a bed of sautéed kale, his with a corn soufflé accompaniment and mine with a polenta cake. We had a cozy table in front of the fireplace. All in all, we had an outstanding evening.

“Maybe it was a 'bad day'?”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 October 2013

My husband and I drove up from Eugene hoping to have lunch at Paulee which, it turned out, was closed that day. We had read good things about Tina's so opted to have our lunch there instead. Tina's was about half full. One waitress took care of the orders and seating the newcomers. A group of four preceded us and was standing in the entryway waiting for their table. They seemed "huffy." I thought they were just arrogant people. Finally they put their coats on and left. Hmmm...

Then it was our turn. The waitress told us three times it would be 'just a moment' before she seated us. We had waited, standing, more than 15 minutes where the previous party had stood wondering what was wrong with Tina's system. Two sets of people who came in after us, waited a while and left.

Finally we got a table. Some people around us had food. Others were flagging down the waitress (who seemed calm) asking for their wine or appetizers. She told us she would be right with us twice before we gave up and left shaking our heads. Something was obviously wrong that day. All we had was a glass of water and a long wait. We won't be going back.
