Had dinner with our travel companions while visiting the Willamette Valley wine country. The staff was a bit shorthanded this evening but it did not impact our dining experience. All the entrees were delicious, and the wine list had a lot of variety for a very fair price.

We had been looking forward to our dinner for a month. We were very disappointed. My wife had the salmon and I a pasta dish. The aioli covered the salmon and was so salty it hid the flavor of the fish. My cream sauce was so runny it dripped from the pasta. The price did not reflect the quality of the dinner and we will not be returning.

This is a lovely restaurant located in a 100 year old house...not big - perhaps 10 tables - but very warm and inviting and welcoming. Dinner was very good. We shared an order of the crab cakes - outstanding in every way - no fillers whatsoever...both of us had the pasta dishes - mine was wild mushrooms with papardelle; my partner had penne with feta and tomatoes and herbs...my dish was spectacular! We had a lovely bottle of Cameron Pinot Noir but alas had no room for dessert...too bad...we heard that the chef makes his own ice cream! We had great service in spite of a large group requiring much of his attention. Our server was very knowledgeable about the history of the house (which is now the restaurant) as well as the history of Dundee...imagine living here 75 or 85 years ago and seeing great flocks of turkeys being loaded into boxcars and being shipped to Chicago and elsewhere...all in all a very lovely evening. We were lucky to meet the chef as we left so were able to express our thanks personally.

We went wtih a party of 10 people. Dinner was a casual pace and we had the table for the evening. We got to try a majority of things on the menu. Asparagus soup was very good to start. Meat dishes, Lamb shank, short ribs were fantastic. Pasta dishes, wild mushroom pasta with 7 types of wild mushrooms in a red wine reduction sauce was very good. We had a big group and service was good and we spent 2 hours there. No rush and gave plenty of time for enjoying the evening.
