Here for business and really enjoying the great service! They sent a taxi to pick me up from the airport since the shuttle driver was out sick (went that extra mile when they didn't have to). The front desk was friendly and helpful. Bed is comfortable. Nice to have coffee/tea in lobby and free wifi in the rooms. Microwave and mini fridge in room is useful too.. Location is fantastic. Two blocks from campus and food options. Would definitely recommend!

We live in Eugene and stayed here when our power went out due to snow. In the past, family members stayed here. This place is definitely better than many of the more highly rated Eugene hotels on Trip Advisor. Rooms are larger than average with refrigerator and microwave. Good bed. Standard breakfast is served early, starting at 6:30. Close to University. The building is older, not fancy, but well maintained. Has interior hallways.

We thought that we would give this hotel a try after reading a number of reviews that rated it above average. First, the room that we finally ended up staying in was satisfactory, but the hassle we initially received from the front desk clerk, Mike, has given us reservations about recommending this establishment to others. There are better hotels in Eugene. We made our reservations six weeks prior to our arrival date and specifically requested a "quiet, non-smoking king suite on the upper floor away from vending machines and elevators". When we checked in, we were given a Jacuzzi suite on the main floor. When I told Mike at the front desk that this was not what we had asked for, he flippantly replied that any requests made at the time of booking were not guaranteed and that he had no other rooms available. I replied that we were not accepting the assigned room and that I would be posting our experience with Trip Advisor so that other people would be aware of our experience. Instantly, he suddenly changed his disposition towards us and reassigned us another room on the second floor. However, when we turned on the Heating/Air Conditioning Unit, we found it defective and had to ask him again for another room. This third room turned out to be satisfactory.
I accept the fact that there are circumstances that are beyond a person's control, such as someone overlooking a special request or the sudden break-down of a heating unit, however,
I am not prepared to overlook the bad behavior of staff in dealing with customers.

Room Tip: Be friendly but firm; don't accept a room that does not meet your expectations. There are other...

This is a top shelf hotel with lobby that offers tea and coffee and candies. There's an elevator. Rooms are very nice although the kitchenette counter that splits the room in half is weird. There's no separation of areas for some privacy from your travelling companion. Shower and head in one small room while sink is outside across from bed.
Has the more than typical breakfast offerings, including hard-boiled eggs and make-your-own waffles that hotels feel compelled to offer to be competitive. Just a bit on the pricey side because it's so nice and located in Eugene.

This was the perfect hotel room for us and we can't wait to stay here again! The rooms were a great size and very clean. The staff was always wonderful and helpful. The continental breakfast was good and the pool was a plus with the kids!!! We got a great deal on the rate via Expedia. Our room had a perfect view of the river and we got to watch all the ducks every morning. Our family really enjoyed this hotel.

Rooms were clean but getting a little dated with things like carpet stains etc. Staff was friendly and breakfast was about what you'd expect from this type of hotel. Location is superb as it's close (walk) to nwcu and uo as well as all kinds of restaurants. I'd stay again but hope they get around to updating the rooms soon.

We were impressed by the hotel overall. Friendly staff. Free coffee in the lobby day and night. Breakfast was decent. Room was clean and comfortable and the pullout sofa was a plus. Very pleasant experience overall and would definitely stay again.
