“Very Nice Experience”
Reviewed 22 November 2011

We visited November 19. Wendy was our server - it was very busy with four other parties visiting at the same time. She managed to take care of all of us in turn and make us feel important.

We were staying at the Village Green Resort which serves Chateau Lorane wine. All in all, a great experience. Worth the trip!

“Not worth the drive”
Reviewed 20 November 2011

We arrived about the same time as a larger group and we were largely ignored. After doing a wine tasting and not liking any of the wines we decided to move on to the other vineyards in the area. Would not return.

“Will never go back”
Reviewed 10 November 2011

Bad wine and a terrible experience. With so many other great wineries in the area, don't waste your time.

“Quaint setting & good wines”
Reviewed 16 October 2011

This small winery offered good wines appealing to the diverse tastes of our group. We were able to buy a 6 bottle shipping container to check our wine for the flight home. Their tasting fee was reasonable. They have a nice deck overlooking a lake but the indoor seating was minimal (~2 tables).

“Fantastic New Winemaker!”
Reviewed 17 March 2011

Small intimate winery...none of the corporate winery flash. Found out the new (just this past year) winemaker is the SAME winemaker who made some fantastic super-premium wines in California. I was fortunate enough to get a barrel tasting of his not yet released Bordeaux-style blend. This guy (David G) is the real deal...studied enology at UC Davis & UCSD, apprenticed under the famous Kathy Joseph (Fiddlehead Cellars). Quiet & super-talented!
Why aren't we hearing more about this winemaker all you Oregon wine writers? Oh, because he's MAKING WINE instead of doing self-promotion, like many of Oregon's "top" winemakers.

Could use some more merchandise on their tasting room floor, though..
