Owner description: It’s a crisp, dewy morning on the Oregon Coast, a perfect day to spend at Ocean Dunes Golf Links. The smell of fresh cut grass wafts up as you look down at an immaculately white golf ball resting on the tee. You take a breath, pulling your arms back, and swing through, following the ball with your gaze as it soars out over a gorgeous expanse of green between swaths of windswept Coastal forest. The ball disappears in the sunshine; now is the moment of truth. If today’s your day you’ll watch that little ball drop right down onto the green (or even right into the hole!); if not, you might hear the dreaded and familiar “plop.” Whether you’re on your game or not, the setting is so beautiful, you’ll have a great time even if you land your ball into a sand trap or water hazard. You may even have the time of your life, and become one of our hole-in-one hall of famers. Welcome to Ocean Dunes Golf Links Looking to do some golfing on the central Oregon Coast? Look no further than Ocean Dunes Golf Links. Located in Florence, this course is a favorite for locals and travelers alike. With a unique course layout, breathtaking scenery, and a few unexpected turns here and there, visitors will enjoy a challenging and exhilarating golf experience. Complete with a clubhouse with snack bar, 18 fun and exciting holes, carts available for rental, and a vista of dunes, mountains and forests, your experience at Ocean Dunes Golf Links will be unlike any other.

“Overpriced with poor maintenance..”
Reviewed 4 September 2012 via mobile

Probably was a nice course when originally built. Either they will not pay for a qualified agronomist or are just to cheap to maintain the system. Lots of blind shots which even after a reasonably good shot, you do not know where to look for your ball. A euphonism for " challenging" poor maintenance and design. One person to take orders and cook with a dozen people waiting at the snack bar. Makes it yards to grab a bite and drink when you turn the corner.

“Fairways were horrible.”
Reviewed 30 August 2012 via mobile

Great price but fairways were in bad condition. Some tee boxes were difficult to find. No bathrooms available on the course.

“Weirdest course I've ever played”
Reviewed 27 August 2012

I don't mind quirky courses, but if they're excessively penalizing on top of it, that's where I have to draw the line. I'm a scratch player, so I should relish super tight fairways and hard-to-hit greens, but sheesh. Plus it's really poorly marked between holes, so we often had no idea where we were hitting from - back tees, especially. The back nine is closer to normal. At least it was cheap. I wouldn't go back.

“Not a beginning course”
Reviewed 14 August 2012

Although a nice course, it is a difficult one. Add the wind factor and those narrow fairways are difficult to stay on. Then add the fear factor of not hitting the house windows that surround the entire course.

Deanna, we invite you to come out and try us again. Since purchased by the Three Rivers Casino and Hotel, we have made some major improvements to the course, such as widened fairways, adding red and yellow ratings to the course and things are looking very green and our hotel golf package is now very popular. We actually have only 5 holes with houses on them. We hope to see you again and check out threeriverscasino.com for our latest packages and promotions.

Thank you
