“Service and food ”
Reviewed 29 March 2014 via mobile

Located right off 101 in old town. Very friendly and excellent service- great selection of local wine and microbrews, and everything we ordered (BLT), fish tacos, burger was superlative. Fresh, cooked order, highly recommend

“Excellent Oregonian Fare”
Reviewed 27 March 2014

Really enjoyed this humble, solid restaurant serving incredible Oregonian fare marked by fresh, organic ingredients and a solid slate of local craft beers. The BLT was truly one of the best BLT's I have ever had, with thick, flavourful slabs of bacon and a tasty artisan bread.

For the best in fresh and organic, you can't beat HOMEGROWN. Wonderful burgers and fish taco's. Never had a bad meal here.

“We'll be back here again, that's for sure!”
Reviewed 7 February 2014

I've driven past this place a couple times and either they weren't open or they just hadn't turned their sign on. So today when we drove past near noon we decided to stop in.

My first comment has nothing to do with the food: the joint was quite cool inside. I'm all for being economical and green but even the best food in the world doesn't shine as well when the diners are cold.

That said, everything else about our visit was really a delight. This was our first visit so we ordered an appetizer (Buffalo Wings -- nice, meaty, crispy crust which isn't so close to the original and a pungent wing sauce that WAS very close to the original Buffalo Style), we both went for the fish and chips (Albacore tuna, lightly battered and fried with coleslaw and fries -- all delicious, the fish was perfectly cooked -- still pink in the center and right-off-the-boat-fresh), and bread pudding (which really was a pudding -- moist, full of egg, and with a whiskey sauce that wasn't cloyingly sweet or excessively thick.) With two mugs of draft beer the bill came to $48.00 -- not cheap but for three courses and two beers not all that bad considering that the food was top notch and fresh!

“Duck Duck Duck!”
Reviewed 30 January 2014

Love this place. The duck 3 ways was spectacular. We like to support farm to table type restaurants and this place does it right.
Everything we ate was exceptionally good. Nice wine list. The service was professional , yet unpretentious and very warm and personal. Very comfortable relaxing place to eat if the music isn't too loud.
