“Beautiful park if you have the right spot”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 July 2014

First I would like to say that this is a very clean beautiful park. Very reasonable. The waterfront spaces are great. That being said..we have a 28 foot fifth wheel. We booked the last spot (or so we were told) 2 weeks prior to coming there. We were assigned space J which was a 32 foot spot. They did tell us that we would have to park our truck at the office and the office was not far from our space. When we got there the host told us someone is going to have to guide you in your spot. My husband is a truck driver and at 56 he is well experienced. We got to the site and between the tree and a very large bus he was going to have to back our trailer in. It was so tight that they had to ask the people in the space across from us to move their truck so my husband could make the turn backing in. We have a pull rite hitch and had that thing at its maximum turning ratio. It was just insane for them to put such large trailers, buses and the sort in these small tiny spaces. We got the trailer in. I asked to move the next night to a larger spot but the host lady said there was no openings. Then my husband went in and was assigned space 18 for the next day. This space was good so ask for that one. It is waterfront and the pavement was even. The poor guy who came in later to space 17 was not so lucky. He had a really hard time backing his 5th wheel in too. Just like what we experienced the day before. This is a nice park but just beware that the spaces are tight unless you get waterfront. And even then you will still have a challenge. also look at the park map when booking. You do not want ANY spaces near the trash. It is very congested and smells. Otherwise it is quiet, clean and nice. Just very narrow and tight spots.

Room Tip: Spaces 18, 12, 11, 10 are good. They are riverfront and have room to maneuver to an extent.

Pleasant atmosphere along the Rouge River, enjoyable camp sites quite, friendly, clean, with strong wi-fi signal, area has laundry, and bath house, nature at it's best Hosts were very helpful and gave informative information about the area's events, shopping and dinning. Very inviting for angling along the bank.

We enjoyed our time at this small park. This campground has some on the best river views from the campsites. We were greeted with a warm welcome and the staff seemed friendly and helpful. Our site was level. We were able to get a DirecTV satellite signal with some work, as the park is surrounded by many tall trees. Wifi signal was strong. Our Verizon phones had no trouble getting a signal. Some campers were long term, and these RV’s appeared rough, which presented a negative look on the park. A small drive of 10 minutes gives you access to major shops, gas stations, fast food and restaurants.

We spent one night here on our way north. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The sites are very crowded, and you need to know how to back in your trailer. There isn't a pool, but the river is behind some of the sites. The access to the river is easy. The park has beautiful sculptures.

We stayed 2 nights in spring, so the park was not very full. It was quite enjoyable, but if full I think spots would be a little close for me. However it is very clean, green and pleasant. We were right on the river and enjoyed our stay. We had no complaints at all. We have stayed in Bridgeview Park also and prefer this one by far!!!!

We've stayed at River Park RV on several occasions over the past several years, and it's our favorite place to stay in the area. The setting is unbeatable, on the banks of the Rogue River. The grounds are well maintained, sites are attractive, and the managers, Dean and Donna, are completely professional. Large trees shade the attractive grounds. The only negative is the cottonwoods, during the time of year when they're producing cotton, if you're allergy prone.

My wife and I stayed at River Park RV Restort in So. Oregon last year, 2010, it was nice but spaces were a bit to close together, and very shady for our tastes, we did however enjoy our neighbors and the management. We were informed that there was another park that was owned by the same people so this year we tried it out this year. The park is Bridge View Resort and RV Park. We were given rules of the park and adhered to them as best we could, however, we found management quite annoying pointing out the smallest of infractions. eg; just back from a rafting trip we had some wet towels that we hung in the back of our motor home we were asked to remove them and use the dryers. There were a few dogs allowed to be off their leads when I questioned this I was told that I should look out for the dogs and owners and report them to management. The noise from the freeway, which is right accross the river was deafening. The WiFi was shotty at best when I asked why I was told that no one else had complained and that the problem must be on my end. The park stated that there was TV, however, there were few actual channels that worked. The overall apperance of the park is lovely. We stayed for a week and by the end of the week we had heard such horror stories from full time tentants reguarding continual petty harassment that we have decided that next year we would rather stay in a shady closer invironment with better management then to suffer the slings and arrows of the current parks management at Bridge View Resort and RV Park

Room Tip: Bridge View Resort and RV Park is a motor home facility and there are no spaces where you can't...
