Loved this hotel! Nice view of the river. Beautiful room! Comfortable bed! I would most definitely stay here again if I was in the area again! Very nice staff! Much better than the sister hotel the Riverside Inn!

We stayed at The Lodge at Riverside for 4 nights on our recent trip to Grant's Pass and will definitely stay there again when we return next year. The staff was very friendly and immediately made us feel "at home" in the charming, rustic lobby. Breakfast, a wine and cheese reception, and "cookies and milk" daily are included in your room charge. We had a "view" of the river and pool, with a nice patio which was perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. Be sure to book this hotel early as it sold out last year and we had to stay at another location which was not nearly this nice!

This hotel/Lodge is the sister property to the Riverside Inn but I would recommend this property over theirs, which is much more like a stacked Motel. The pool to the Riverside Inn is located in the parking lot. There has been a lot of attention and upkeep on this property, the only thing that is probably overdue for a overhaul is the pool. The Lobby was terrific, very inviting and they had coffee, tea and fruit on hand all the time. In the afternoon to evening it was fresh cookies and milk, what a nice touch!

The pool is located at the back of the property, overlooking the river, which was peaceful and the ducks were out. It was not too cold but could use a replaster - we still had a good time in it!

From the hotel you can walk across the street to a very fine restaurant on the river and into town if you liked.

Breakfast was included and it was very good, a waffle bar and lots of fresh items to choose from. I would call it an expanded continental breakfast.

The staff was very accommodating and even put my re-usable igloo block in the freezer overnight.

Room Tip: back of hotel has a premium and a view of the river. We were in the front, room 101 which was large...

My husband and I loved the hospitality and amenities of this establishment. The reception area is rustic and inviting and the rooms are large and attractive right down to the Plantation shutters on the window. We plan to return this establishment again and visit this lovely city for an extended stay.

Thanks to fellow TA reviews we booked this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location is great, far from the I5 Freeway and along side the Rogue River. Room (standard King) was spacious and well maintained. The wine and cheese reception in the afternoon was a plus. Breakfast was normal for the present day smaller hotels. Nothing special but well worth attending and the staff were very friendly and kept the plates full. Highlight of our stay was booking the Hellgate jet boat tour the following morning. Booking is two short blocks away and you can walk to/from the boat dock. Well worth the time to enjoy the scenic beauty of the Rogue River.

We had just one night to spend in Grants Pass on our way south and this one was a winner for a good night's sleep. Clean, comfortable, spacious, everything we needed. An underground walkway to the restaurant across the street, so we didn't have to cross the busy main street. Secured sliding doors to a spacious outdoor area with the promised view of river - it was right there! We sat out there and unwound from a 7 hour drive. It was peaceful and quiet. I'd give this place a 5, except the housekeeping staff started loudly (but happily) socializing in the supply area outside our room around 8:30 and kept it up for 40 minutes as they got ready for their rounds.

Great locale on the river. Enjoyed the porch and just sitting out in the evening. Great remodel of what was obviously an old run down Motel 8 type place--the pool needs a new coat of gunnite, otherwise everything in top shape. Decent breakfast. Spacious and comfortable room. Great value.
