Been by here many times but never knew it existed. From the beautifully located hotel across from the Rogue River, large jacuzzi and comfortable room to the great restaurants of Paisanos for dinner and Bee Gees Diner for breakfast it was the best experience of our business trip.

Thank you for stopping and giving us a try. We appreciate your review and look forward to your next stay with us. We are happy you took some time to enjoy some of the small town restaurants we have here in Rogue River. We couldn’t be happier that your stay lived up to the standards we have come to expect from Best Western.

Great motel, good views, Good Staff but NOT in Grants Pass--it's IN Rogue River, but Edie said due to the side of the river and how the county assigns towns, the address could not be changed, SO PLEASE NOTE: THIS MOTEL IS REALLY IN ROGUE RIVER ABOUT 8 MILES SOUTH OF GRANTS PASS! Edie was very helpful and helped us adjust to the inconvenience of being 8 miles south of where we needed to meet friends in a relatively short time.

Thank you for leaving a review about your stay here with us. Our staff here at Best Western “Inn at the Rogue” is happy we could help you navigate through what can be confusing with our address situation. Many of our guests have come to find that we are located conveniently close enough to Grants Pass and nestled in between the river and mountains that they come to prefer our location. We hope to see you again in the near future.

We had just came from a bad experience at another hotel in Seattle, so this place was like a breath of fresh air. From the staff to the up to date rooms this is a great place as evidenced by their full capacity both the times we stayed there. They had a full warm breakfast included in the room, a lovely pool and rooms equipped with micro, fridge and coffee maker. Great bang for the buck and just an all around good place.

Stayed here for work in July of 2014. Pretty average Best Western, lacking a bit in front desk customer service though. The location is pretty poor if you want to go out and eat. Its basically located off the highway in the commercial section of town.

I stayed in two different Best Westerns on consecutive nights, and I swear I will never stay in another one. The Best Western in Rogue River (along with the Best Western in Coos Bay - reviewed separately) was the straw that broke the camel's back. Both Best Westerns were dated and worn, and the room we had in each hotel smelled terrible. In fact, the room at the Rogue River Best Western smelled strongly of smoke, although the hotel is smoke free. When I complained, the clerk was not able to find me another room, although mine was the only car in the parking lot. She did offer to run an ionizer in the room if I would leave for a couple hours, but that would have been inconvenient. We opened the window and ran the fan full blast through the night to make it tolerable.

The Best Western at Rogue River is obviously located in the town of Rogue River, even though the address they use is Grant's Pass. The best restaurant in Rogue River is a hamburger joint. I recommend staying at Grant's Pass (seven miles away on I5) for a wider range of better hotels and restaurants.

I apologize for not having your experience be one of superior excellence that has come to define the Best Western brand. We are in peak season and unfortunately were not able to move you to a different room because we were at max capacity. Please don’t let the amount of cars in the parking lot be your gauge on how many guests are occupying the hotel or you will be misled more often than not. We hope you return to us in the future and let us show the same level of service that the majority of our guests seem to experience when staying with us and show you that we can deliver the superior service that has come to define the Best Western Brand.

We use Best Westerns a lot, as our son loves pools, we love included breakfasts, and our dog likes to come along. This hotel is on par with the usual great Best Western standards...except for one thing.
When we walked in, I was overwhelmed by the stench of cigarettes in the lobby. A staff member kindly helped carry our bags upstairs and I asked him if this was a smoking hotel. He assured me that the entire hotel was non-smoking, but the cigarette stench filled the upper story, too.
It took me a day to figure it out, but I finally saw that, maybe 20 feet from the lobby doors, is a line of benches where people sit and smoke. The airflow whips that smoke right into the hotel, and it smells nasty!
I hate to spend my entire review on the smell, as once you were inside your room it smelled clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfasts were great. But there are plenty of reviews covering those things and if, like me, you have a sensitive nose, you might want to be prepared.

For the second time, I stopped at Best Western Inn at the Rogue just to rest, and for the second time, it was a pleasant and fun experience instead of just a stop. We only called a few hours ahead, and they were ready for us. We normally keep to ourselves, but enjoyed the friendly relaxed vibe of both staff and other apparently satisfied guests. We slept well, and full breakfast was ready at six, which is perfect for a hotel so convenient to travel routes.

Thank you for taking time to leave a review of our hotel. Our staff is glad you had another great stay and we strive to make sure that every guest feels welcome. We do recommend calling a little more ahead of time during peak season, but we were glad to accommodate you. We look forward to your next stay with us and continuing the same standard of excellence you have come to expect when staying here at “The Inn at the Rogue”.
